What rental companies at MCO let you skip the counter, and go directly to Parking lot?

HI, we've used Alamo the last few years. What other companies at the airport let you skip the counter? Too many times we've seen those long lines at the rental counter, and we walk right by and head out to the garage. I know the companies have their rewards programs I would probably need to join, but that's no big deal-have been spoiled with not having to wait in line at the counter, thank you!

We just used Dollar last year. They selected the car and we had to wait in a very short line out in the garage. I believe we could have asked for a different car if we didn't care for the one they selected. Very easy.

Budget Fastbreak worked wonderfully in November. In March we waited an hour - so many people were waiting to pick cars up, the cars being dropped off were being cleaned and brought around dripping wet.

I used Hertz in October, walked right out, had my name on the board and a space number. I was ready to go 2 minutes later.

I've also done the skip-the-counter with Budget and Alamo, but like Hertz the best as you just walk to the board and find your name and walk to your car -- and the last couple trips where I used Hertz (as a #1 Gold member, which is free) I would get the info also via text to my cell just a few minutes after my scheduled flight number arrival time, which I thought was nice.

Many years ago, I had to do the same the first time I used Hertz Gold Plus Rewards club.

I like Alamo. You go to the lane which has the car type you have picked and hop into one. You stop on your way out at a gate so they can check your paperwork, and that is it. Super easy!

That's fast. We have always had to wait longer, I seem to remember...

We didn’t have to go to the counter. Our reservation was in the kiosk in the garage, telling us which slot our car was in. We just showed ID when leaving the Budget area of the garage.

Yes Dollar does have that option to pick a different car in your rental class. A lot of people don't know that. Although right now with the way things are crazy with rentals who knows if they are honoring that.
