What Regional Food does your McDonalds have?

New Mexico has all kinds of green chili stuff. :scared:

My favorite is the green chile double cheeseburger. :thumbsup2 Man, I miss those things! Now I have to put my own green chile on at home.

Here in Michigan, we have brats at McDonald's from time to time. I haven't noticed anything else.

We have a McDonald's Cafe' here as well, so we have all sorts of fancy coffee drinks and desserts too!!!

We have kinds of snack wraps here--chipote, ranch and honey mustard.

We have the McRibs from time to time.

Do you guys have Teri-burgers? We just had those all spring here. (teryaki burgers)

Yeah, we have the Tillamook stuff. Hey staley7580, have you tried Bandon cheese? It is Oregon cheese too, and I think it is pretty comparable to Tillamook and considerably cheaper these days.

Our McDonald's also sell lattes now. Is that just a "Seattle area" thing?

Our lattes are Vanilla Macadamia Nut ones. LOL... are yours?

We also have Taro pie!!! (gross!)

I think it's cool McD's has a different menu for Hawaii.

And listen to this---NO ORANGE DRINK on the menu!!! We have fruit punch and Mango!

I havent seen that. I will have to check it out!

"Homestyle Burgers" they had them in Texas as well only they called them like the BigTexan or the Texas Burger.

We get to test market stuff so at one time or other we've had a lot of stuff, but never a lobster roll.

Not anymore, but one near me used to sell hot dogs.... and they had a NASTY version of a Philly Cheesesteak! BARF!

On a drive down to Florida we stopped at a McD in South Carolina for breakfast and we ordered Bacon egg and cheese biscuits- which we have had at home-but WOW!! Those biscuits they have down south are melt in your mouth delicious.

Oh and the only oddity I think is that our mcdonalds puts mustard and ketchup on the burgers- when we were in ny it was JUST ketchup.

We have those here in Texas. I just assumed they were served at all of them. We have had sweet tea for a long time and seasonally we have McRibs.

(East Coast)

We have McLobsters and McPoutine...

This is a Poutine:

It's fries with Cheese Curds and Gravy...All the fast food joints have it around here.

There is just something oh so wrong with McDonalds and Lobster :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

I don't know if we have anything regional here, I rarely go to McDonalds. I know many, many years ago when we were in Munich they had kiwi sundaes and BEER on the McDonald's menu. We had to get a beer just because--it was really bad beer too.

I had a beer at Mickey D's in Munich too!

No, sadly, there are no macadamia nut lattes at McDonald's in Gig Harbor. :( I think they just have vanilla and mocha. Can't remember for sure. I'm kind of a coffee snob so I tried one once just because it was new, and that was that. They were nothing to write home about.

I love lobster. Are they any good? Is summer lobster season or just tourist season?
I have actually never had one. I always figured if I wanted a Lobster Roll there were tons of places I could get one besides McDonalds. :rotfl: They haven't started selling them yet, but i'm sure by the end of the month they will. They generally only have then in the summer, which is tourist season. Lobster season is just about all year.

Nothing that I've seen personally, though supposedly some McDonalds in the Pacific Northwest have hard ice cream dipping centers in the restaurant that sell Tillamook ice cream. (Tillamook is a fantastic creamery/cheesemaking factory on the Oregon Coast). Tillamook ice cream is to die for, and it's the only cheese my husband will let me buy. :) If you ever find yourself in that area, tour the factory and try some squeaky cheese. :)
I grew up in Oregon and we loved Tillamook cheese!! Of course, when we moved to the east coast we had to say goodbye to it. However, they do now sell it in some of the grocery stores and it's not to expensive. We like to get some as a treat.

Oh... and I think DH would sell the children for a McRib sandwich. He LOVES them, and gets all weepy when he thinks about them!:rotfl2:
My DH is the same way. He loves those things. I could never figure out what the excitement was though. :confused3

I remember when we were visiting Ontario (had to be 12 years ago) they had McPizza on the menu and that they also delivered! :goodvibes

Here in NJ we just got sweet tea & let me tell you, it is S W E E T!
No McRibs for years. Nothing new ever, the newest thing are the snack wraps.
I joke with my dd all the that a life lesson is "not all McDonalds value meals are the same" When we were in Fl. I ordered my standard #2 medium with a diet coke. The lady gave me a big mac meal (ewwe). I was like, head bobbin', finger waggin', Jersey attitude, "I ordered a #2!" She was like, yeah #2 is a big mac meal." Sure enough, in Fl. it was a big mac, but here in NJ for at least 20 years has been the 2 cheeseburger meal.
Lesson learned. PSA: Not all McDonalds have the same value meals.

Can you believe that they tried to sell us McDonald's Crabcakes here in Maryland?!?!?!?!?!?! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I haven't seen them in a few years so maybe they gave up on the idea.

I guess the Snack Wraps are everywhere. No Teri-burgers in South FL.

Now, that's something I've never heard of. I like cheese curd, but it's hard to find around here.

I don't know that ours has anything regional, but I did once get a lobster roll at a McDonalds in Bangor, Maine.

I was going to post that we have lobster rolls in the summer in Maine!:thumbsup2 I'm in Bangor too- which MickeyD's did you go to???

I have only been to a McD's here once since we moved here almost a year ago. I know there was a sandwich I'd never heard of, and of course we have beer.

In Egypt, we had the McArabia. It was a burger with sauce in a pita.
