What really makes you happy at Disney?

Early summer mornings at Beach club villas. I get up early mornings (~6:30)
:sunny: before it gets really hot and before my kids start to stir and I take a walk around the lake between the BC, YC and the broadwalk resorts. The music is usually still playing nice soft rock and there's only a few other souls around. It is absolutely the most magical, relaxing way to start my day. Everything is fresh and clean. I usually stop in at the bakery on the broadwalk and pick up some goodies. Some times I'll sit in one of the big white rockers at the YC and just drink a cup of tea and quietly wake up. Truely makes me giddy with happiness :goodvibes

1. Art welcoming us to Beach Club!
2. The smell when you walk into the BCVs.
3. Dole Whips
4. The smell of the monorail
5. Reciting the spanish version of "please stand clear of the doors" with the monorail.
6. The taste of florida water

Days, weeks, months, years of planning WDW trips
WDW Entrance
First notes of opening music for each park
Monorail
"Dead Center of the Room"
"Dead Men Tell No Tales"
Monorail
Rice Krispie Treats
Oddly the manatees in Living Seas, they are such peaceful creatures.(My trip is not complete without saying HI to a manatee)
Did I say Monorail......
Sorcerer Mickey, anywhere
And next time I go, the words "Welcome home" as a 1st time DVC'er - I think I might just start bawling at that point!

Sitting in the rocking chairs outside of Liberty Tree waiting for our dining ressie.
Finding the "right spot" to watch Wishes.... then after seeing Wishes, everyone agreeing it was the best spot ever!
Early morning walks!!! That is the best part of any vacation.... especially at WDW!!! Seeing the sun rise ..... Being part of the new day just as it begins!!! WOW
Racing my DD to Rock N Rollercoaster, then the countdown just before taking off for the "concert" :rotfl2:
Trying to find a spot that we haven't stood to watch Illuminations before.... We have almost made it all the way around WS!
Wondering each time if "Little Red" will be okay! :lmao:

Then... most of all ..... every time we go we bring home more fantastic memories!! :cloud9:

Starts with seeing my kids' excitement up front against the glass window on the "monorail" at MCO. :hyper2:

Going through the Walt Disney World sign, lots of whooping and hollering in the car! ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

Checking into our resort and opening the door to the room for the first time realizing we finally made it! :hippie:

Joining the CMs in doing the Twist in the Everything Pop food court the first morning of our stay! :yay:

The sights, sounds and smells of the parks and our favorite rides.

Leaving the parks after nighttime EMHs when nobody's really around. :cool2:

The surprise of being picked as Soarin Family of the Day one morning at Epcot. :thumbsup2

Munching a warm cinnamon bun from the bakery in Norway. :cloud9:

Watching British Invasion in England while eating Fish and Chips. :woohoo:

Shedding a few tears of American Pride during Golden Dreams. :music:

Watching the masses return from the parks late at night with sleeping children on their shoulders, trying to manage bags of souveneirs, especially when it's pouring rain! :umbrella: :rotfl:

Riding a surrey bike. :moped:

Watching fireworks from the beach at Poly or Dolphin. :3dglasses

Hearing the music of the Electric Water Pageant, or better yet, watching it from inside the quiet pool at the CR. :listen:

Lots and lots of things, love the whole Disney experience. princess:

BEING THERE :cool1:
Seeing my man, Mickey Mouse  . Sorry Minnie he is mine!
Being in a land of fanstay that calms me enough to tackle the real world when I get back. ( I am a counselor, so the trips help keep me sane :) )
Picking at my other Disney friends who are at home when I am at Disney. Yes it is wrong, but we all laugh about it :rotfl2:

-I LOVE going to our Disney room for the first time and agreeing they gave us the best room in the hotel!
-Walking up Main Street with my kids- I cry every time.
-Holding hands with my DH, DS6 & DD3 during Wishes- it's always a magical feeling. The 4 of us together at that time makes me feel like the luckiest person in the world.
-Finding all of the princesses for my DD3. She is in MAJOR princess mode right now. This morning she informed me her name was Princess, not Lindsay, and don't call her Lindsay anymore!
-Watching my DS's face during Lights, Motors, Action! That is his favorite attraction (he loves cars) and I love to see him so happy.

Having a proper day waking in the morning and going to bed at night, something you don't get to do working shifts. Being at disneyworld with good weather and the knowledge that work is thousands of miles away.

:cool1: :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :moped:

Just about anything makes me happy at DW!! I get excited when we're still ten miles away. I like seeing all of the happy little kids. I love seeing all the animals on the safari. I love, love, love going to DD and getting my first glimpse of the House of Blues. Gosh I can't wait to go back!!!

Riding the monorail or the boats!!!! They are my girls favorite part of the trip.

For me it's simply the magic. I get all teary eyed thinking of my 2 dd's looking at Cinderella's castle and the look on their face at all the different characters. And then there's the extra touch that Disney puts on everything. They think of soooooo much. The detail that goes into all the resorts, parks, and everywhere you look. It seems like it's really a place for good family times. Don't get me wrong we have wonderful family memories and add more everyday but when we're at WDW it's like we forget about everything and just learn to be a kid again. Truly the best vacations we've ever had. :thumbsup2

The hugs I get from Tigger..
My mother's face when she sees Goofy!(Oh,everytime..)

The sight of all the resorts we eat at such as the gorgeous GF, AK lodge and BC. I love to visit the other resorts and look around. They are all gorgeous.

Of course the looks on my childrens faces and even my DH's face when he has particularly enjoyed something.
