What phobias do you have?

Any phobias?

I think I have a bit of a fear of open spaces. I like having mountains and trees around me and feel really uncomfortable in the plains or on tops of mountainsl.

a cricket can make me cry. just teh sight of it can upset me to teh point of tears.

i'm not sure why, but i've always been like this.

I also have a mild fear of rabbits.


I guess I just don't do hoppy.

Fish phobia! yup live fish , dead fish, pictures of fish! i freak out and lose control!!! i get goose bumps and somtimes i get the shakes! it's wierd!

I'm afraid of the dark. I turn all the lights out in the house one at a time and run from room to room like a big idiot. I also sleep with the TV on so it isn't dark/quiet at night.

I can't handle not being able to see what is around me. Wigs me out.

Birds! Birds freak me out, the thought of birds flying into my face or hair. I shiver just thinking about it.

I have a phobia of crossing the street when the green man isn't giving me the go ahead. If its the red hand, and even if there is time to make it and there are no cars in sight anywhere, I wont go. I just know I will get hit.

a friend of mine is terrified of brids. if she walks by a dead bird her ankles tingle. its the strangest thing.

Bees of any kind.
Wasps, Hornets, etc. Actually, anything with a stinger. So that would also include scorpions! Lucky for me I don't live in an area known for scorpions.

But bees are a big problem with me.

I guess I just stepped on too many with my bare feet as a child. I hated having stings on the bottoms of my feet!

Ditto. I don't do well in crowds. I have to sit in an aisle seat on a plane too. I'm totally fine being locked in a confined space, I just can't handle feeling trapped by people around me.

LOL, I am also like this. Didn't think about it as a phobia but I guess it is. Aisle seats for me also. Places like airplanes, buses, lines all freak me a bit. Definitely a wonder why I LOVE going to WDW.

I can't hold my head under water. I have even tried proff swimming lessons to help. I also panic if someone tries to hold me down to tickle me.

Mice. I'm really one of the most practical, un-nervous people you'd ever see but when I see a mouse, I'm just like one of those cartoon women--shrieking and jumping up on a chair. They just....scurry...and it freaks me out.

It always cracks people up because I'm the one that you send in to kill the cockroach, spider, or scorpion. I lived in southern New Mexico and we'd have tarantulas crawl into our yard from the desert. I'd just take a broom and sweep them back out there without turning a hair--the neighbors would ask me to do it for them sometimes because they'd freak out. But a mouse....ewww...

Snakes. I'm so scared of them that I'm constantly looking for them, even in places where they wouldn't normally be.

I also have a raging fear of heights that has transferred itself into fear of flying. The fear of flying was pretty mild until we had a horribly turbulent flight through that tropical storm back in June. Now I don't know if I ever want to get back on a plane.

For those who fear crowds -- someone told me once that it's actually social anxiety.
