We have had practically NO summer this year
Today? Raining - again!
I feel like I have had no summer because I have spent most of it sitting at my desk in an FREEZING air conditioned office building
Yesterday I did get the chance to lay out at my aunt's pool which was wonderful - I even got a bit of a sunburn, despite dilligently applying 2 kinds of sunblock!
I forgot to say that we had that Wall-E dancing on the counter at the
Disney Store where I work. He got a lot of attention but he is so spazzy that he would jump off the counter whenever we weren't looking! Also, how cool is it that the WOD manager gave you that cute statue?!
You work at the Disney Store?? I must say I am envious! I was going to apply at the one near my apartment and then it got shut down

I love all your souvenirs!! Your kitty is so cute, she looks so sweet and innocent but I bet she's a pistol! I have a kitty who's about the same age, but she doesn't photograph nearly as well as your Mixi. This is my most recent photo of Miss Roxy Bonkers:
I got a very cool souvenir for Roxy Bonkers last year at WDW, if they still have it you should get one for Mixi! It's a little catnip-filled beanbag and it makes crinkly sounds, one side has a picture of Figaro from Pinocchio and says, "Good Kitty," and the other side has a picture of the Siamese cats from Lady and the Tramp and says, "Bad Kitty." I also got Miss Bonkers a little plastic ball that you fill one half with catnip and the other half has a little flashy light bulb in it, so when she bats it around it lights up and drives her crazy! Very very fun!! I think I got them both at the Under-Ten-Dollars store in DTD but they were also at the pet store in DTD and the pet shop in the firehouse on Main Street. Maybe they'll still have them, I'm sure Mixi would love 'em!
I love Roxy Bonkers! What a fabulous looking cat! the gifts you got her sound great too - Mixi loves little noisy toys. I will have to buy her a bunch because she always likes to hide them in my roommates bedroom and then we never see them again. I think he has a black hole under his bed.
Mixi does not always photograph well - here was my attempt at getting a portrait together (you can sort of see her paw as she was trying to escape)

I love that glass and it was such a good deal. I think it was $8 for the drink and the glass (the drink was an ice creamy milkshake thing that was probably around $4 on its own). And they give you a new clean glass to take with you, you don't have to take your sticky milkshake-residue glass
i read throught must of the pages, i enjoyed the episode with you and even more going though this message, thanx for sharing all of this, your closet looked like mined does, Lol loved it!

Yaaa! I can't believe I found this thread! I enjoyed your recount of your experience on WNTW way back when, and here we are again! I was actually looking to see what DISFAMILY is up to, as I enjoyed reading Michelle's reports as well! Low and behold, Michelle posted here! Michelle, I see you are planning for Hallowe'en and Christmas. Have you started a pre trip report yet? I would love to read along. I went to WDW last December, and was considering going again this December. However, I think we may put it off till December 2009. I love to go when the Christmas decorations are up...so pretty!

I love Michelle's reports, I'm so glad her family has two more trips this year to write about! I feel like it's forever since I've read one. With all her great reports and pictures I feel like I have actually eaten at Victoria & Albert's and stood on a balcony at the Boardwalk resort.

I haven't started a PTR yet - probably when I am 30 days out.
That is such a coincidence! I believe Carol was talking about DISer THEDISNEYFAMILY. It is so weird that you have the same name and are going to be there at the same time. I will keep an eye on your signature for your PTR

I am but the weather is making me nervous! As long as we get down there safetly I suppose I can deal with whatever tropical storm Florida is going to throw at me!
