What Not To Wear At Walt Disney World - Getting ready for the next one -Show on again

I know that really is the best thing about the whole experience, the friends you meet!

How awesome for your aunt and uncle! :cool1: Sounds like your cousin will have a great 11th birthday because of your suggestions!

OMG! I totally LOVE those vacation planning video's too! I LOVE DAVE "Get in the Photo!!!" We always quote that. :rotfl2: Erin is very cute and my son loves Luke. I forgot the name of the girl who does the young children but she is so sweet too. They are fun videos to watch and get us really excited for our trip. I actually like them better than the "dream" version!

I agree, the old video is so much better! "It's your birthday? GET IN THE PHOTO! You're from England? GET IN THE PHOTO! You're wearing a green shirt? GET IN THE PHOTO!!!" :rotfl:

Funny no one can remember that woman's name! I even tried googling it and all the hits I got were like "Erin, Dave, Luke, and that other woman" Poor lady. I want to say Sherry? I'll have to watch it again!

How fun for your aunt and uncle! Maybe you can just extend your trip for another week and join them! Don't you just love when you find an opportunity to discuss Disney plans with someone - so fun!

I wish!! I am so excited for them. I wonder if there is a way I can leave a treat behind at the resort for them :scratchin

Love the PTR! We'll be there about the same time. :thumbsup2

Wish I saw the show! LOL... I swear, I need WNTW intervention!

I LOVE sharing the magic! It is so fun to talk to people who WANT to talk about WDW! (then I don't have to feel like I am shoveling info down their throats).

BTW- I too think that is one of the better videos they have done.

Greetings! Followed your link over. I used to dread that show would happen to me, b/c i would NOT give up my t-shirts. It's amazing what you realize you can live without. Luckily my uniform requires scrubs now, so noone can tell me anything! (And Disney scrubs are not only appropriate, but very popular :) ) I'm subbed and ready to read.

Thanks for coming by! I wish I worked somewhere with uniforms! I still hate getting dressed for work :crazy2:

I think her name is Stacy.

I just checked and you're right! I didn't realize she had the same name as
the infamous Stacy from the WDW top 7.

I know right? I kind of don't want to bring it over to my aunt's in case she wants to borrow it :rotfl: I need my occasional Dave fix!

I sorely needed one! If you looked in my suitcase for our trip, you'd think I still did
My roommate came home last night to find me packing my suitcase:

Roomie: Are you packing for Disney World?
Me: Yup.
Roomie: Isn't your trip in almost two weeks?
Me: Yeah. Well, twelve days.
Roomie: I usually pack the night before.

Nope not me....I am almost done with my shopping (just need a misty handheld fan!) and have shoved everything into my suitcase which weighs in at 40 lbs. 11 lbs under the overweight limit....most of that is due to the 15 bottles of water I insisted on packing. Jack doesn't understand why I bought a 24-pack of bottled water here for $3 to bring, when they sell $2.50 individual bottles of water at WDW  I'm a bit of a penny pincher...

We all are going to be leaving some critters behind on this trip:

Mixolydian

Mixi is my kitten – I adopted her last Thanksgiving and she is almost a year old. She is a bit of a spoiled brat, but I love her dearly. She is the first cat I’ve ever had and I can’t wait to buy her Disney presents at the pet store in DTD.

Those of you with Catster can be Mix’s friend.

Pete

Pete is Jack’s 4-year-old Russian blue cat. He is truly a Disney cat, as he was named after the famous Disney dragon owner (Pete also has a sibling named Elliott, adopted by one of Jack’s friends).

Tucker

Jakkie received Tucker as a birthday present a couple years ago. Tucker is possibly the most pleasant, adorable creature on the planet (sorry Mixi). Here she is decked out in her holiday outfit.

Now that is just nothing but cute!

It's ridiculous how cute Tucker is! Just watching her bounce around the room is so funny - I love how bunnies' noses are always moving. I am actually going to Jakkie's to visit Tucker right now :cutie:

Kelly-

I can't believe you don't like Stacey! She is cute, fun and energetic. Personally, I don't think it's her that's irritating, it's the fast editing that goes on through most of the show. Watching her show in your room is definitely part of the WDW experiance.

"...so if you'll excuse me, I'm about to get my ride on....":rotfl:

My dh wants a bunny so much! I say look in our back yard and you have a whole bunch of them. ;) They are super cute though. :)

I think my problem is that I love Erin & Dave from the old planning DVD so much. No one can compare :rotfl: And don't worry, I will definitely have Stacy on in our hotel room...I am a true DISer :teeth:

Single digits!

Oh yes - thank you for reminding me!

 SINGLE DIGITS, PEOPLE!

I have heard that bunnies can be difficult, but Tucker is just like a cat! She has a litterbox that she uses, and when Jakkie is home she hops around the apartment. It's the cutest thing you can imagine.

NO WAY! I can't tell my dh! Are there no little pellet accidents? Can it go up and down stairs?

There were some pellet accidents at the beginning but Jakkie got her trained pretty quickly. I am not sure how old Tucker was when she got her. And I don't know about stairs because Jakkie has a one-floor apartment :rotfl: I'll have to ask her if Tucker has ever experienced stairs.

Adorable kitties and bunny! Great story of how the bunny came to be too.
OMG - Catster! That is just too cute. I may just have to set my kittys up there in my spare time!

And the top 7 girl's name is spelled S-T-A-C-E-Y......S-T-A-C-Y is the WNtW lady.:thumbsup2

Hi there,
Popped over from my PTR after you posted there. Just subbing just now, need to go back and read through properly!
You're so close to going!!!!!!:yay:

Di x :donald:

Darn - we'll be in WDW the same time as you will and my girls were really hoping to meet you, but it doesn't look like our plans will match up at all. We'll have our lime green Mickey heads on though, so we'll keep an eye out for you anyway because you never know! Loving the pre-trip report... I usually don't read these because really, I'm busy enough with my own packing and phone calling and overplanning. Then of course most of those plans get thrown out the window once we get there!

Oh, and I have a color-coded Excel spreadsheet too. My dad takes it to work and shows off my dorkiness. He looked at it this time around and said, "Oh no, there's a new icon on here this year! What does this mean?" "Uhhhh Dad... it's a Mickey head." "Oh."

ETA: SINGLE DIGITS BAAAAAABYYYYY!!!
