What no Hot water this morning!!! BWV Resolved but no communication.

Just arrived last night from two nights at Universal.Love that front of line and low park numbers. Was able to go on all rides in 5 Hours each Day. Arrived 20:00pm at room 4045 opposite valet . Woke up this morning to take a shower No Hot Water! Answer they are working on it! They say due to renovation work.

I stayed there November 1-5, 2013 . Booked 2 - 1BR . This was our only adult trip for my wife and I and we got a room for our long time neighbors. We had the exact problem in our room for the entire stay. I was so glad my neighbors had it in their room or I would have been embarrassed. I remember them also telling us the same thing they told you. I have not tried to stay there since.

I hope the issue is quickly resolved and just a temporary hiccup. Hot showers are important at WDW.

Did someone write about this exact problem several weeks ago? Seems to me that I've heard that BWV has problems with its plumbing.

If it’s not fixed they need to move you - in my mind, for a hotel accommodation to be considered habitable it needs to provide hot & cold running water - what does the resort think you should do, heat water up on the stove/in the microwave to bathe/shower? The problem is that because DVC runs at 100% occupancy, especially BWV in the fall, they may not have many spots to move you to.

Couldn’t find anything about BWV, but found this thread about BCV from earlier this month. Hopefully the issue will be fixed & OP will be suitably accommodated for the subpar villa.

Hopefully management took care of things and you are able to enjoy your stay. Also room number 4045 doesn't exist at BWV, but I'm sure I would have had dozens of typos after being forced to take cold showers.

I was there Sun-Tue this week. I think it was room 4083. No issues with the water.

Maybe that’s why it did not work
Typo 4075 is correct room number and problem was resolved when my wife arrived in room from the pool

We were there Oct 18-22 on 3rd floor near the elevator. The first 2 days hot water was great. Last 2 days hot water was very lacking and water pressure had dropped significantly.

Plumbing issues seem to have been a huge problem at BWV in the last few years. I hope we don't have to spend all our capital reserves budget on fixing it during the reno and end up with no other improvements.

You should talk to the manager even if it is resolved. There should be some compensation for the inconvenience.
