What next in DL after early Fantasyland?

Thanks to dozens of posts and hours of reading, I feel pretty confident on most aspects of our trip. But this morning I'm having a minor freak out before we get on the plane.

On Saturday, we have an early entry to the park. I understand the Fantasyland strategy for that hour. But then what?? DS is 7 and afraid of big rides. DD turned 3 last week and is too small for big rides.

I will get fp for Autopia, ST (DH and DS), and RRCTS. I also want to do Jedi, meet the princesses, Jungle Cruise, (Indy is down), PTOC (will talk DS into this one), IASW, Toontown, Nemo, and get Dole whips. No SM or Splash.

With all that, where should we head at 8am when the rest of the crowds descend on the park? Thank you!

Tomorrowland first. You will want to get on Nemo as soon as you can as it becomes one of the worst lines of the day. You can easily get in Nemo, Star Tours and Autopia in the first hour.

Jungle cruise is never longer than 10 minutes
There are multiple Jedi showings
PTOC you can easily catch with a 10 minute wait throughout the day
Small World you can easily catch with a 15-20 min wait throughout the day
Toontown - no comment, I don't usually go.

Definitely Tomorrowland first.

I think Fantasyland and Tomorrowland are the "must-dos" for kids who don't like the mountains. After that, I'd consider playing it by ear. I over-researched my trip and we ended up doing some things I had never looked into much (e.g., Animation Academy, Turtle Talk, Bug's Land). I vaguely knew of my options and after doing our must-do list, we wandered. My eldest, who was 5 last year, refused to go on ANY dark rides, so we didn't spend much time in FL or TL beyond just a few open-air rides and meet-and-greets. She ended up loving Goofy's Sky School, which is a jerky rollercoaster BUT it's all outside so she could see the entire track.

Savor every moment and take lots of photos of your kids having fun. HAVE A GREAT TIME!

If you are doing Toontown, you'll want to do that shortly after it opens... one hour later than regular park opening I believe.

Smiles33--thank you for weighing in. I read your TR last week and it helped A LOT! Your DD sounds a lot like my DS so seeing which rides she liked assisted in my planning. I remember you saying how much she liked Goofy. Fortunately we have a friend with us who is a huge shutterbug. I wont have to take any pics this trip AND I will actually be in some of the pics with the kids! Im always the one with the camera taking pics so DH gets in all the good ones instead of me. Another TL vote.

Blue32--thanks for your Toontown vote. What makes you say seeing it earlier is better? Ride times or missing a character?

Arrived in Anaheim late afternoon. Made it to DL for 7pm parade. Our kids have never been here so it was priceless watching them take in all the lights and scenery. I teared up a bit. LOL! Rode a few Fantasyland rides after before parked closed early. Walking around helped me get my bearings to be ready for our early Saturday entry.

Going to brave the DCA stampede rush early in the a.m.! Too bad it's early entry for resort guests. I have our plan in place to get RSR fp. DS loves Cars!
