I totally second Stepmom!! For some reason, it always makes me cry, Susan Sarandon is such a great actress.

The Lion King always gets the water works going!

Also, A Walk To Remember, North Country, Precious, The Sixth Sense (I know it's a horror/suspense movie, but there are moments!), and this movie that maybe is not as well known in the U.S., but it's called Taare Zameen Par. Disney released it as "Like Stars on Earth". SO good and such a tear jerker.

- Old Yeller (I couldn't watch that movie when I was younger because I always go so distraught)
- Stepmom (Oh my goodness, I remember seeing this in the theatre in grade 7 and the woman beside me getting me a pack of tissues)

- A movie called 'The Boy in the Striped Pajamas'
- My Girl

Marley & Me ~ That music!

When it was released on Christmas Day I made all my family go as we had a yellow lab at the time. We all cried.

We thereafter, tragically, unnecessary lost our yellow lab. When I want to cry, I will go listen to the theme song on YouTube and cry my eyes out and I feel better. Go figure.



Peggy Sue Got Married ~ That music!

When she goes into her bedroom and her little sister Nancy runs up the stairs. I lost my baby brother and I would give anything to go back and have him run up the stairs and annoy me ...just one more time. And when she answers the phone and her Grandmother is on the other line... I ball my eyes out.

Basically all Disney movies make me cry at least as much as they make me laugh/smile. Also, the first time I saw The Notebook was right after my grandpa had been diagnosed with Parkinson's. The old couple in the movie looks eerily like my grandparents, so when they died at the end I started crying inconsolably. I was at a sleepover, of course, and my friends were terrified by my hysterical crying. Oh well

Most recently, Les Miserables - yep, right there in the theater. Countless others before that one.

The first one I can remember was "Where the red fern grows". The original one - I think I was about 6 or 7. There are lots of other movies that make me cry:

I'm sure there are more but those are the first bunch that comes to mind.

Oh and most recently I watched "Glory Hounds" I think it was on either Animal Planet or TLC. DH came in and saw me sobbing like a baby... all I could get out was .. "the dog died"...
