What movies make you cry??

PULL UP A GLASS OF

AND A BIG BOX OF

What Dreams May Come? (Cried from beginning to end -- whole box of tissues)
Casablanca (Doesn't matter how many times I see it, I become a mess)
Bambi
Turner and Hooch
Air Bud
Field of Dreams
Flight of the Navigator (I watched this and turned to mush)
Dumbo (this is such a classic and I fall apart every time)

The Last Time I Saw Paris - Elizabeth Taylor
Toy Story 2- when they play the song when Jessie's owner discards her!!
Gone With The Wind
An Affair to Remember

Christmas movies

Tons of movies make me cry and tv shows too!! I'm a big baby!!

Braveheart
The Patriot
The Notebook
Second Hand Lions
Steel Magnolias
Fried Green Tomatoes
A. I.
Ghost

Just to name a few. I am a sucker for a tear jerker.

Another vote for Dumbo. When Dumbo visits Mrs. Jumbo when she's locked up and they are playing "Baby Mine", I start to lose it.

There are so many, but Beaches is one of them. I bawl like a baby every time I watch it. I get goosebumps just thinking about it! Oh, and Shawshank Redemption - buckets!

The Notebook. The ending makes me cry everytime.

Dumbo. When the song "Baby Mine" starts, I start crying uncontrollably.

I put in a vote for Steel Magnolias and Terms of Endearment. One that made me cry the frist time (but not now) was Lion King. I didn't see it until it came out on video. I was expecting Simba's mom to die (thought I was prepared). I cried and cried for the entire movie after Mufasa died. :sad1: :sad1:

The Notebook, definitely. I can't even watch the ending anymore.

Also, and I'm probably alone here, but the last time I really cried during a movie was during Star Wars Ep. III when Anakin was burning in the lava. Tears were streaming down my face. I guess I couldn't stand the sight of Hayden Christensen's good looks melting away.

"Nettieeeeeeeeeeee!!"

I became a puddle at this line.

I don't even make it that far. It doesn't matter if I have even watched the whole movie..As soon as I see those colorful cloths raising up in the wind I lose it BIG time. One time I was flipping through the channels and I hit that spot and started crying. :confused3

The last few scenes of The Sixth Sense always tears me up. After the mother finally believes what her son is telling her is true and Bruce Willis finally realizes that..well..I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it.

Sense and Sensibility...EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! I keep saying, "I'm not going to cry....and, then...I just start crying like crazy!!"

Where the Heart Is...I don't know why...I just LOVE that movie!!

Sommersby...yikes!! I saw this right after I was married in Chicago....I sat on a park bench and boo-hoo'd for over 30 minutes. DH thought I had lost my mind.

Dumbo...you folks are BRAVER than me....I dont' think I could EVER sit through that movie.

Beca

Old Yeller

It's A Wonderful Life

Miracle on 34th Street

Where the Red Fern Grows

Sound of Music

Bambi (this was the first time I cried at the movies-it was the beginning of a lifelong habit)

Forest Gump

Brian's Song

The Parent Trap

I love all these movies-there is nothing like a good cry to make you feel better!

Steel Magnolias (the gravesite scene)
The color purple (when Nettie is dragged away AND when Shug goes into the church to see her daddy "See daddy sinners have soul too.")
Mr. Holland's Opus (When he finally signs to his deaf son)
Dumbo (the baby mine scene)

Holy cow - anything and everything with an animal in peril. I even bawled at the Lion King when Mufasa died! It's horribly embarassing. In fact, DH and I really wanted to see Eight Below but I teared up at the TRAILER! To avoid public humiliation I refused to see it in the theater. When it came out on DVD we rented it and I literally had to get a dish towel I cried so much! I was puffy the next DAY it was so bad! Bambi and Dumbo are on my list never to watch again.
My other more traditional titles would have to be:

Moulin Rouge
Love Actually
Titanic
City of Angels

I know there are more, but those always get me.

Monsters Inc.

Episode of Futurama where Fry goes back and forth in deciding to bring his fossilized dog back to life. Lot of flashbacks in the show, but Fry never realized the love his dog had for him.

The Bravest Team - ESPN style documentary on the FDNY football team one year after 9/11.

I think I cry at a lot of weird things in movies... things that aren't supposed to make people cry. Like in X-Men 3 when Magneto lost his powers - I dunno, I thought it was super sad... And in White Squall, when they kill the dolphin.

Movies that make me cry for a "good" reason...

Titanic
William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet (can you tell I had a Leonardo DiCaprio thing for a while?)
Dumbo (same thing, that darn Baby Mine scene... I cry when I hear the SONG!)
Finding Neverland
American Beauty

Ahhhhh, nothing like a good cry popcorn::

Fried Green Tomatoes
Boys on the Side
Where the Heart Is
City of Angels
Gone with the Wind
Titanic
The Other Woman
Creator
Boys Don’t Cry
The Stand
The Story of Us
Ghost
Homecoming

City Of Angels
Steal Magnolias
The Notebook
Titanic
Return To Me (my hubby and I are hs sweeties so I can relate :guilty: )
Bambi
Fox and The hound
The Lion King
Armageddon
I could go on forever everything makes me cry.....
