What movies make you cry??

I watched 'Finding Nemo' with my daughter last night, and although I have seen it several times, the ending always makes me cry. Music has a lot to do with how a movie makes me feel. The ending of 'Shawshank Redemption' makes me sob...great soundtrack, and great script, too. The scene in the church from 'Home Alone' with "Oh Holy Night" playing gets me every time. :)

There are alot of movies i cry at..but the one that gets me EVERY time is Ladder 49. My dad is a firefighter and I am so close with all the firemen at his station..It just hits VERY close to home for me!

I thought that movie would never end. I thought it was SOOO boring :(

I loved Finding Neverland (of course, I think Johnny Depp can do no wrong). DH even teared up at this movie.

Steel Magnolias
The Champ
Without a Trace
Beaches
Forrest Gump
The Patriot

Many, many more........

I guess this ages me -- The Way We Were and An Officer and a Gentleman

I agree with Beaches and Steel Magnolias...........but My Girl gets me everytime. I SOB when little Macaulay Culkin dies, and his friend talks to him at his funeral in the casket............good gosh. I saw that one in the theater with a male friend of mine and cried for hours afterwards!!

Finding Neverland
Big Fish by Tim Burton, I highly recommend it, if you haven't seen it.

Steel Magnolias just makes my heart break everytime.

I had forgotten about my girl. How sad.

Imitation of Life (1959) My sister and I were watching this one day and it had us both crying our eyes out at the end.

I pretty much cry at them all. The disney movie about the sled dogs, I think its called eight below, my son and I were hysterically crying at the end. I cried 3 or 4 times during it as well.

I am such a crybaby when it comes to movies. I think I could probably cry during just about any movie, but some memorable tear-jerkers:

Life as a House (Kevin Klein...See it if you haven't!)
Bridges of Madison County
The Notebook
Rudy (I can't help it! I love that little guy!)
Finding Neverland
Million Dollar Baby
etc, etc, etc........

I love a good cry. It's cleansing for the soul!!!

Bridges of Madison County...when she is in the car with her husband, with her hand on the door handle....and Clint Eastwood is standing in there in the rain.

I am Sam with Sean Penn, when he is in court and can't understand why Lucy can't come home with him

A Walk to Remember, but also the Notebook, and I also cry reading Nicholas Spark's books

I'm just a big crybaby when it comes to movies

I cry all the time when I watch movies, but the one I think I cried the most over was A.I. with Haley Joel Osment.
Just the thought of a child loving his parents, and them not loving him back.

I'll NEVER watch it again!

Sooo Sad! :sad2:
