A Walk to Remember......oh, I watch it everytime it's on TV and cry everytime!!

Oh this totally does it to me too :sad1:

My hubby just stares at me when I comment on it. I will say "Isn't it sad" and he will respond with "yea, it's so sad that the writers scripted it like that" smart a**

I swear, I saw him cry one time in the entire 10 years I have known him and that was when I read the eulogy at my pop's funeral.

There are so many, but Beaches is one of them. I bawl like a baby every time I watch it. I get goosebumps just thinking about it!

After the, ahem, really sad part at the end (trying not to spoil it), and a song is playing, and you see Victoria sitting there, and CeeCee comes and takes her hand- hoo boy!! I am :sad::sad::sad::sad:

I am totally not a crier, but the only movie that makes me cry is Rudy! Something about the underdog finally making his dream a reality gets me every time.

Steel Magnolias
Stella
Stepmom (saw that in the theater with my DD and her fiance, I just sat there sniffling through the whole thing and my DD kept trying to console me)

I love all these movies-there is nothing like a good cry to make you feel better!

How could I forget the biggest tearjerker of them all? :thumbsup2
And I forgot Monsters, Inc.

Any movie with a feel good ending and animals. And a lovestory and heck I even cry at comedies. I'm a crying movie fool. If the movie is good, I cry and I'm proud.

E.T.
My Girl
and I can't think of any more right now. I'll have to post more later.

Holy cow - anything and everything with an animal in peril. I even bawled at the Lion King when Mufasa died! It's horribly embarassing. In fact, DH and I really wanted to see Eight Below but I teared up at the TRAILER! To avoid public humiliation I refused to see it in the theater. When it came out on DVD we rented it and I literally had to get a dish towel I cried so much! I was puffy the next DAY it was so bad! Bambi and Dumbo are on my list never to watch again.
My other more traditional titles would have to be:
Same here - anything with an animal in peril will tear my heart out.

Save the LAst Dance
A Walk To Remember
Lion King
Beauty and the Beast
Dead Poets' Society
Piglets Big Movie
Muppets Christmas Carol (big stylee when Tiny Tim 'dies')

Steel Magnolias
Terms of Endearment
The Notebook
Beaches
Step Mom
A walk to remember

Steel Magnolias - I cried for about 4 hours after the movie ended
Stepmom- "I have her past, you can have her future"- oh it gets me EVERYTIME!!! :sad1:

Me too. I'm reading through this and I have cried at pretty much every movie listed (there are a few I haven't seen, but I'm sure I'd cry).
I'm so glad I'm not the only crybaby!

My class was shown a French movie in the fourth grade (many, many years ago) about a boy who had a dog he loved more than anything. One day the dog went missing and he boy looked all over town for him. Then, at the end of the movie, he finally sees his dog, starts to call him but then realizes the man who is standing there with the dog is blind. The boy makes eye contact with the dog who seems happy in his new role as a seeing eye dog. The boy then turns away and walks home. You want to talk about crying???? This was in the fourth grade and most of us had dogs back then. I don't think anyone was able to keep it together after that. :sad2:

BTW...does anyone remember that movie? It was set in Paris and didn't have any dialog...just music. :confused3

Terms of Endearment and Steel Magnolias.

A couple of days before dd was born and I was on bed rest, some station played Steel Magnolias back to back over and over for like a day and a half. I watched every single time and still boo hoo'd like a mad woman each and every time!! Everytime it comes on now my dh leaves the room!!!

Oh yeah...Step Mom and Beaches!!

ME TOO! I can't even think about the part where Dumbo's Mom is in the jail car and rocks Dumbo in her trunk---I'm about to cry just typing about it.

That....and RUDY! At the end when he finally gets to play....I cry EVERY TIME without fail!!

Frequency. The scene set to music at the end when it shows how life changed due to changing the past makes me a puddle every single time.

Is that the most awkward sentence eveer??? :rotfl:

It doesn't take much, but "Terms of Endearment" or "Field of Dreams" does it for me.
