Resort Thread Disney's CORONADO SPRINGS Resort

We check in to our room in 14 days!!! We have a room in the village and my husband is concerned about getting luggage to our room. I am assuming there are luggage carts scattered around the buildings but he wanted me to ask.
Use bell services. If you’re going to your room and it’s ready they’ll take you and your luggage in a golf cart. If you store your luggage with them and go to your room later you can call for it to be delivered. This can take time but it’s well worth the time & tip at CSR to me. When leaving you can also call bell services to bring your luggage (and you if you want) to the Tower and they can store it if you want.

Ok, so the parking is by the tower? I was thinking there was some closer parking close to the specific village you were in. It’s been 15 years since I stayed there and couldn’t remember. I’m good with using bell services. Thank you

You are correct, the village buildings have their own parking lots. If you have a car, you can park near whatever building you are in.

If you can afford I would stay in the Tower, no question. You have two of the best/bar lounges on Disney property in the Tower itself along with a hugely underrated restaurant - Toledo. Indoor walkway to the food court, two more restaurants and the gift shop!

Plus it's just luxe and gorgeous.
Stayed in the Tower last April and will be going back this May.

It's beautiful and feels like a deluxe without quite as high a price tag. The tradeoff is there are no non-bus options for transport (but the location is fantastic) and no balconies in the rooms (though I didn't really miss it). All my meals at the resort were great too, especially Three Bridges.

I also went to Caribbean Beach last year and it wasn't my thing. Coronado has definitely spoiled me and I can't wait to go back!

Wait— are you going to have a car? That completely changes the equation. With a car I wouldn’t be worried about getting luggage to my room anywhere at the resort. All buildings are elevator equipped if stairs are your concern.

Sorry, I should have specified that we are driving so we will have a car. I wasn’t sure if there was parking close to the buildings, how far of a walk it was, and we will have close to a weeks worth of stuff/a few groceries. Was just hoping there were luggage carts so we don’t have to make multiple trips to the car

Each building has its own parking lot. You should be able to ask for luggage carts.

Hello everyone! Staying in Village preferred location (2 queens) for 2 nights. No car. We are getting in late and will have one full day at the resort before we head to Wilderness Lodge early the next morning. I have been reading, and wow, what a lot of reading! We are just staying put at the resort, and would love to use the Dig site pool and be somewhat close to the quick service. We will not being visiting the restaurants on site. (although they look amazinig...just not this time). What should I request for room location? Thank you everyone!

I just got back from Coronado and can tell you there's no better resort, in my humble opinion. Sounds like a great day! I'd ask for Casitas 5 or Ranchos 6/7. That will put you close to the pool. I'm not sure if you mean being close to the QS at the pool (Siestas) or QS in the main building (El Mercado), but even if you mean El Mercado, it would be a quick walk over the bridge from those areas. (5 minutes). Hope you have a great stay at my "home"!

Thank you so much for the quick reply! I did mean the main quick service, I guess that is El Mercado. The pool looks amazing and of course this short visit gives us a chance to check out this Resort. We really enjoy WL, but thought it would be fun to start out with a Moderate. We've done plenty of values when our family was young, but this seems like a great Moderate to go to! Since this is your home, perhaps you can weigh in on the table and chairs at the pool. We love to play a few games of cribbage/backgammon while we enjoy a day at the pool. Are tables plentiful at the Dig Pool? Do those fill up quickly?
