Or anything that is malfunctioning. I had to have my AC repaired this past week, but I would have been just as uncomfortable with a plumbing, electrical, or appliance issue. I simply prefer to have it all running smoothly . . . and it so rarely does.

People driving up and down the street after revving the bike for 10 minutes- not going anywhere - with their illegally modified and loud motorcycles. And no they are not working on it every weekend for several years - is basically brand new.

I'm fine with motorcycles -and I get you want them loud for some good reasons and for some just to be annoying reasons, but I have had several neighbors that just go up and down the street all day long being noisy - and they never actually go out on the road and ride. Its a quiet neighborhood. Even their wives yell at them because she gets grief from neighbors.

Get on you bike and head out on the highway...and stop annoying me.

When I get a notification on my phone about one of my motion sensing cameras goes off and there is no one visible in the room.

Yeah - who the &*$# just shows up uninvited and expected to be let in offered a drink etc...

I had a few of these over the summer and just wow - we are not that close a friend.
ID be annoyed if it was a good friend, and at least bring a bottle of wine or something

We recently moved to a new condo complex and the security lighting on the site here blazes brighter than the noonday sun - you'd have to see it to believe it. Our main issue is one fixture that is located directly across from our bedroom window. We like to sleep with the window open and that's literally just impossible. I've not had a really sound night's sleep since we got here. We'd never have realized this when we were viewing the place; honestly, it might have been a deal-breaker.

It's ironic too. This complex was built about 20 years ago. More and more today new developments on the edges of our city are being designated by building code as "dark sky", meaning there are very, very specific standards for non-intrusive exterior lighting (type and location) that are allowed, and how much each site can emit. This is a big city and it does glow...I don't think very many people, even committed environmentalists, think about the impact (on both humans and wildlife) too often.

I hear you. We just in a new furnace and AC unit in the basement on Thursday. We put it off as long as possible. We already replaced the other 2 AC units and that furnace a couple of years ago (we have 2 furnaces and 2 AC units). Also got a new hot water heater this year and new dishwasher. Always repairing or replacing in our home.
