I tear up a lot at Disney. From seeing the castle for the first time this trip.....to riding small world....and even Splash Mountain. The numerous occasions are almost embarrassing. I just get overwhelmed with all the wonderful memories...from my childhood, my oldest son's experience and the new ones I am creating with my little boys.

I've teared up at check-in (not always but there was that one time). I've felt my eyes go moist when we arrived early enough to see Magic Kingdom open (and I think the DH might have "gotten something in his eye" too.) I cry every time we're there for a marathon and see the runners coming through the parks. All are happy tears!

I tear up when the gate to WDW comes into view, sitting in a hammock at the resort thinking reminiscing, when Wishes starts....now i'm tearing up just thinking about it!:cloud9:

Knowing on the last night of my trip that I leave the next morning and return home. In my case, it also means saying good-bye to my mom and dad who live in another state. At the parks, seeing Cinderella's Castle light for the Christmas season at the MVMCP. It was so breathtakingly beautiful all draped in lights. It is a sight I won't ever forget.

Leaving the WDW complex. We always drive by the Tower of Terror so seeing that as we drive off into the distance makes me cry for sure!!

My DH says I cry at supermarket openings. I tear up when Wishes starts, when we sit on a certain Poly bench where my parents sat on their last visit, and any time I see a small child have one of those "Disney magic" moments.

I also cry when wishes begins. Reminds me of watching Disney on Sunday nights, and my Grandma singing when you wish upon a star to get me to sleep. One of my all time favorite memories.:littleangel:

I feel sad leaving MK

However, I cry when I see my credit card bill after I get home...

After a while, I get over it and plan my next trip..:confused3

I always cry when we first arrive, happy to have another opportunity to be there with my family making even more memories!

I cry throughout the trip as I recall what an important role Disney played in my healing both mentally and physically after having major surgery for cancer. (I went just 2 1/2 weeks after a radical hysterectomy) Before I left I was still having some physical issues but mostly had a lot of fear. I went on that trip and returned home as my old self again. I will forever be grateful!

That's fantastic. I applaud your courage and wish you many happy years of memories and good vibes it will help in your continued healing. :goodvibes

Hugs to you Shelby and you rock!!!! Good for you, going on a major trip so soon after what you went through. You are a tough cookie for sure!!!

I cry (well not boo hoo cry but I don't think you meant that) I guess I tear up when I see a Disney commercial, especially when we are talking about Disney and one comes on! That is almost funny lol. I get teared up when I get a memory about a past experience while we are at Disney. Always when I see the Castle for the first time. Sometimes I make more of an effort to suppress it, especially while watching Wishes, maybe this next trip I should just let loose. LOL!!!

:cloud9:I cry happy tears when I go to MK the first time on a trip and the first WIshes and Illuminations of a trip. I also sometimes tear up at the end of a trip when I say goodbye to the castle (always the last park we go to).

My favorite moment is during Wishes, when Tink takes flight and hearing the crowd ooh and ahh. TIme to watch it on YouTube!

I ALWAYS cry at some point during Illuminations. I usually get teary eyed on the Magical Express when I start to see signs of WDW:lovestruc

Okay, not crying but tearing up...arrival at airport, MK castle, back home to POR, leaving.....okay, I admit it...tears on departure....:lovestruc

Wishes for sure, and those magical moments that happen - even when they aren't happening to me. DH and I were taking the Keys to the Kingdom Tour, when down in the utilidors Cinderella caming walking down. The older lady (late, late 60's) nudged her husband, and as Cinderella passed he did a low gentlemanly bow. Cinderella didn't miss a beat and kissed him on the top of his head. When the man stood up you could see his eyes were very "moist". It doesn't matter how old you are, when the magic hits you, it hits you!:lovestruc

Leaving is definitely the hardest and that is when the waterworks are turned on full blast. But i'm glad I'm not the only one!
