What made me happy/ smile today thread

Getting told at my new job yesterday that they think I am a great fit and am doing really well adjusting. I am so happy because I really like this job.

My aunt is going to Disney next month and I am loving giving her little tips and tricks for her trip.

today I had to walk from work and I was blue because I didn't have money to buy a little snack.....but then I remembered I had a kitkat that my boyfriend gave me and that made me happy

Theres a small possibility that I will go to wdw in 2014!

The very small flower given to me by a 3 yo at preschool. I am subbing for the lead teacher for the high school childcare students and this was totally unexpected

Disney wise: we have a mural painted on the wall of the building in the preschool area that has Disney characters and I was able to help the high school caregivers identify all of the characters.

I smiled today when my DD announced she bought me a canolli! i love those things lol ; )

When I looked out my window at work today and saw my co-worker who has terminal cancer coming up the walk way. I screamed, ran outside and started hugging her. The rest of the office joined me. She came in to visit. What a great day. 4 weeks ago she was told she had 4 weeks to live. She is not giving up the fight yet.

This week my wonderful soulmate and I count our blessings as we celebratd our 48th Anniversary . We had a romantic dinner outing and when our dessert arrived the chef had decorated our plates with 'Happy Anniversary XO to You'. What a sweet touch!!


Disney: We will forever hold our WDW Thanksgiving grand gathering and our Disney C'mas cruise w/our adult children, spouses, and grands, at the top of our list for magical memories to carry in our hearts forever.
Priceless!!

I smiled today when i found out i could get 50 ct blank greeting cards ( for scrapping) at half price at AC MOOREs. Yeah, i went and got another pack. $5.o8 each instead of $10. Smile worthy in my book!! lol

A little girl thats three that I babysat last weekend, grabbed my face with her tiny hands and said "Rochelle, you are as beautiful as a princess, you look just like sleeping beauty " Melted my heart!

Well, we found out last Sat that the van needs a new a/c compressor...only 54k miles and it should NOT be worn out but there you go...$1100...ouch! Where is the happy you ask? DH and wracked our brains and remembered that years and years ago, we had purchased some non-retirement stock and then just left it to grow and reinvest. We looked them up and together, they will not only pay for the van but also for my and one of our doggie's medical bills!

DH made me a sandwich for my lunch today and he drew a smiley face and wrote "I Love U" on the ziploc bag.

I was looking at a thread of funny pictures on the theme parks board this morning, and saw a picture I posted of DD quite a while back that I forgot I had posted. Made my day to see it again.

What me happy/smile today is DH, who's been flirting with me via text all day.

Hmmm, Disney connection...let's see. I was enjoying reading Josh's (easywdw) latest blog post about POR and seeing all the pictures. I loved the resort when we stayed there and seeing all the pictures just brings back how gorgeous it is.

Today is our sweet lil redhead DGS's 6th birthday - seems like no time ago he was a just baby . His Daddy got a few xtra minutes off to take him to school and deliver cupcakes to share w/ his KG friends. We drove down to N.C. for his party over week-end, but this pm he was exicited we called to wish him HBD!!

I was stressing about how high our airfare is but we used a code at the hotel for our upcoming trip so it makes the high airfare a little easier to swallow.
