What luck have people had with VB for Easter at 7 mo?

I am hoping to book 3 nights at Vero for Easter '08 for a large group of us (8-10 people). Of course I would love a beach cottage but realize that would be completely out of the question, so I would probably book 3 inn rooms instead. My plan would be to be at Vero from Good Friday to Monday, then head over to WDW.

Another possibility is to go to WDW first, then go to Vero the Thursday, Friday and Saturday after Easter. Would I have a better chance for these days?

Our points are at BWV and HH, so we would not be able to book until 7 months. Has anyone had any luck during that week, or should I expect those days to be completely booked already by 7 months?

We have never tried to book anywhere at Easter, but of all the resorts I think VB is probably the easiest to acquire at the 7 month window (Thank God!). I think you probably have spelled out a good plan. Make full BWV ressies at 11 months and then go day by day at 7 months for VB and then work out the best results between the two. Personally, I prefer to hit VB after WDW to unwind. Have a great trip

I was able to book VB for 3-nights for Easter Week 2006. We went to BWV first, and then on Tuesday (after Easter) left for Vero. We had an "oceanview" inn room. I called day-by-day at the exact 7-month mark.
