We went to Millionaire yesterday, as we always do whenever we go to MGM. Of course we were not expecting anything as we hardly ever get in the top ten. Well the first guy goes up and gets to the 16,000 pt question then gets it wrong. He answered all the questions quickly and didn't take a lot of time at all to think. Then the bell rings that it's the end of the game, we all look around because the guy was only there for about 10 minutes and didn't understand why the game ended so fast. 
So they show the board "just for fun" to see who would have been the next one up....and guess what...my DD (11) was number 1
, DH was number 2 and I was 6!!!! We were so excited she got first but then she realized that she doesn't get to play!!! I said, well it's gotta happen to someone and left it at that but then we realized only 1 person played and didn't play for long at all. This has not been my experience in the past at the game, they always had at least 2 people. (The show before had 2 people and they each got to 500,000) We were hoping for some magic 
when we questioned this, but all they said was each game is limited to 25 minutes and to play at a later show and try again. Yea, like that will ever happen to her again 
So, of course we said we would buy her a millionaire pin, only to realize they DON'T sell them, not even a generic one! Oh well, at least WE know she came in first....I know someone has to be that last number 1, but why my DD
