What kind of Sunscreen do you use?

Neutrogena Dry-Touch Sunscreen with Helioplex. Has a great "feel" (not a sticky sunscreen feel, which I hate).

I also like the Neutrogena spray-on sunscreen. Works especially great for legs (which I find harder to put lotion sunscreen on without missing spots). It has a "cooling" feel when you spray it on, which helps on hot days.

(I didn't like the Coppertone Sport sunscreen spray - loved the ease of putting it on, but found it had a funny feel. Had to scrub with soap and water to get it off - I guess that means it's really sweatproof/waterproof!)

Good news. I was just watching World news tonight and they said that today the FDA approved Mexoryl for use in the USA. They said Loreal will be the first brand to sell sunscreen containing it. They explained that Helioplex is the closest to it on the market now it can be found in some neutrogena and Aveeno products.

Well now I use L'oreal Ombrelle.

My daughter scalded herself with boiling water this spring (2nd degree burns, she's fine now) and at her last Dr. appointment I asked what kind of sunscreen they recommend since she has to be extremly careful in the sun for the next year or so with her "new" skin. He strongly recommended Ombrelle 45, as did all of the nurses. The hospital had pamphlets and posters up everywhere promoting this stuff and I have also seen it recommended at daycares and schools since then. Apparanly it's what all of the experts are recommending now, so that's good enough for me.

L'Oreal L'Ombrelle - Canadian - so accessible for us. Most people I know also use it.
I sent my kids to a waterpark daycamp for 2 weeks and I applied it in the morning and did not worry about them getting burned even if they didn't reapply. Neither got burned!
