New to DVC, and plan on having a one bedroom when we are at WDW for more than a few days. Trying to think of ideas for quick meal ideas for breakfast and lunch, and maybe even a dinner or two.
what kind of meals/food/snacks do you cook while at Disney?
We'll see.
We always do breakfast in the room - cereal, poptarts, bagels, yogurt, fruit. We usually do about 4 meals out on a 7 day trip and prefer late breakfast or early lunch times. We are early people as DD4 is usually up at 5:30am. So we go to the parks early and will often stay until about 4 or so. Then dinner in the room. For dinner we do have a crockpot in our OL. Dinners: spaghetti, meatloaf, grilled or baked chicken, tacos, sloppy joes, pork tenderloin or roast. Sides: tater tots(DHs favorite), butter noodles, mashed potatoes, Lipton/Knorr sides, mac & cheese. If we eat lunch in we do leftovers, hotdogs, hamburgers or PB&J sandwiches, we have done cold cuts but aren't always a fan of the brands availiable. We always use Garden Grocer - even with a rental car - I love to cook but shopping at a strange grocery store to find what I want - is NOT my idea of fun!!! For our family of 4 (usually for 7 days) we generally spend $150!!! That's like one TS!!!!
