Since so many people take pictures while at disney, and there are so many threads about different places to take them. I was wondering what type of camera everyone uses?
Right now, I have a Kodak point and shoot digital, (its about 8 yrs old, and it leaves a spot in the middle of the picture), and a SLR 35mm Minolta, that I got as a graduation gift from high school, boy is it old :lmao: , but it works awesome.

I am looking to buy a DSLR before we leave for disney next month.

Just a thought for a new thread.

I have a silver one with a flash thingy on it.

Kodak Easy Share...works good enough.

I have a Kodak Easy share. Nothing fancy, about 2 years old, does the job but doesn't take the best pics. It's small. I figured if I could carry it around easily I'd take more pictures.:confused3

I have a Cannon Sure Shot SD-630 for my everyday/quick photos.

I have a Cannon Rebel EOS SLR camera for vacations, action shots, special photos.

I keep my Sure Shot in the same room as me because you never know when a great photo op will come up. I take both with me on every camping trip, school activity and vacation.

freesmilies.org they have a bunch of neat ones

I, too, have a Kodak Easy Share.

I used to have one of those big box things with the hood you put over yourself, but CM's kept yelling at me in Pirates for spilling flash powder in the water - they thought they were a relative's ashes.

For someone with such poor taste in college football teams, you have great taste in cameras, although we have the a540 sure shot.

Ya see...all these threads just magicly flow into each other!!!

Currently I'm using a Panasonic FZ-20.

Canon PowerShot A720 -- 8MP and 6X Optical zoom. I think Canon is one of the better cameras for point & shoot. I don't like SLR because they're too big and clumsy to carry around. I take hundreds of pictures every trip and occasionally one come out pretty good.

Our camcorder is a JVC hybrid with a 30GB hard drive. It takes great videos and is incredibly small.

:rotfl: funny man. I'm not even starting down that road :cool2:

I use to have these on my computer and used them in emails a while back on my old computer. They are great. I have downloaded them again. Thanks. Now I just have to remember how to get them here cause I can't get it to work.

We have a new camera. It is a Canon something I will have to double check. Seems really nice so far. Our old camera was a Fuiji and it was good but was getting old and just not doing like it should. I will edit my post later with the rest of what it is.

I didnt download them, I just copy the tags from the website and paste them on my posts. This is one of my faves...

We were just looking at these yesterday! Discovered at Christmas that our camcorder had died and would like a new one for anniv. trip to WDW this weekend. Will probably go back for the JVC (about $350 from Sam's Club if I recall?) ...... but (showing my ignorance here) how do you download the video camera's hard drive (and on to what format?). I usually take our photo memory cards to Costco or Sam's Club and burn the pictures onto a picture CD. I have no idea what to do with the videos. Don't have a laptop and not sure how much memory the desktop has, as far as storage there. Plus, I'd like to be able to burn a DVD of the kids and send it off to grandparents.

Any special programs needed for video downloading & such, or is it all built into the camera?

Feeling more and more like my mother & MIL who are afraid of technology and still using disposable cameras. Even though we bought each of them a digital camera. :sad2:

Cant you upload video directly from the camera to youtube.com via your pc?

Cannon Rebel XTI SLR 10MP DH is my "techie". I just point and shoot.

I use a Sony Sure Shot for pics at work to post in my newsletter. It works for me.
