What kind of bottle water

I hate tap water. I like Dasani the best if I'm drinking bottled water. At home we have a service that rents us a water dispenser/cooler and brings us jugs of water regularly. It tastes really good too.

I have a filter and contigo for around the house/running around. If I'm out and about and need water, Fiji is what I prefer. Love Pelligreno too!

I've worked with Europeans before. When they see stuff like Evian and Vittel sold in the United States they think Americans must be stupid buying imported still water. They don't have an issue with bottled water or even spring water, but their opinions are that imported "designee water" from halfway around the world is absolutely insane because there's so little difference between spring water and that spring water bottled in the United States or Canada is just fine.

Now carbonated mineral water is another matter. There is a distinct difference between carbonated mineral waters.

Depends on your tap water. Ours is primarily snowmelt from the Sierra Nevada foothills. I once lived in a city that primarily got its water from well located in the city limits. That stuff was foul. The city had multiple sources, but any particular location only got water from one source. Some had high quality, low-mineral water, while my house had this nasty, crusty stuff.

I guess since this is DIS, one place that has horrible tap water is Anaheim, California. I'm pretty sure that they soften and treat water at Disneyland, but the water fountains aren't so great. I think they use reverse osmosis at their restaurants.

We buy Kirkland (Costco) for the house. We used to have an Arrowhead dispenser with delivery but it was cheaper to buy individual bottles from Costco. If I'm at the mini-mart just buying one bottle I get Fiji cause it's pretty ;)

It's rare I leave the house without water. I don't like Aquafina and Desani, so Fiji. I'm pretty agnostic about it. Also, its the most common free hotel water, or at least that I've noticed.

We have several of these things in our house that you just turn a handle and water comes out! You do get billed but you don't even have to go out and buy it. I know, it's crazy, I hope the concept spreads to other areas.

I just threw a filter on it - it even tells me when it needs to be changed!

I'm trying to think of the last time outside of an airport I bought water. At the local bars or coffee shops if I get hot - they'll give me free water with a lemon slice and everything.

Dasani, because it's the official Disney water. I can't stand the taste of tap water, it tastes like dirt (literally). It's only $3.50 - $4.50 for a 24 pack, so that's not bad. Usually I'll buy a big gallon of water as well, Arrowhead, because I like to drink it throughout the day. I'm trying to drink one gallon a day, but so far it's not happening. Dang you, Diet Dr. Pepper!

I haven't seen it for free unless there was some sort of special rate or maybe it was included in a resort fee. The last time we stayed at a hotel they did actually have Fiji Water in the room, but there was a sleeve on the neck that said we'd be charged $3 per bottle at checkout.

Strangely enough I remember someone mentioning on a visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu. One of the guys from Fiji was telling jokes about various things that could get one beaten with a club in Fiji. He was proud about the water from there though.

I prefer Dasani because I prefer its taste, but I'll drink most bottled waters. My absolute favorite is Fiji Water, but I rarely buy that due to the cost.

The carbon footprint of flying water in an airplane from Fiji is enormous. Just get a brita filter and drink tap water.
Not that I don't agree that it's pretty darn wasteful, but Fiji has a large container port. Why would they fly it?

You guys do realize that Dasani is just tap water, right? It could be from pretty much any source like well water or river water. Just purify it via reverse osmosis and add a bit of minerals back so it doesn't taste like "nothing".

The oddest thing I've heard of is spring water that's then processed through additional filtration. Seems like someone didn't quite understand why use spring water instead of tap water.

I'm not picky beyond that I don't drink tap water at my apartment. Even with a brita filter it tastes funny. Lately I've been picking up 1.5 liter bottles like they are going out of style due to having to drink lots of fluids due to illness. I always have a case of water in my car (momma told me so lol) and drink a ton at work.
