Being I now have a grill I need to know what brand/flavor of BBQ sauce do you use for grilling? Thanks!;)

We don't use BBQ sauce. Instead, we marinate our barbeque meat in a teriyaki mixture and for our steaks we season them.

I mix Chris & Pitts BBQ sauce with Hienz 57 steak sauce, A-1
steak sauce, a bit of honey, some brown sugar and a dash of
teriaki (is that how it's spelled) sauce...... :D

We used to use Sweet Bay Ray's original flavor but we don't use BBQ sauce anymore, since we found out that it contains more sugar than ice cream :earseek:

Stubb's Original. I like the spicy formula better but dh prefers the original. It's a Texas sauce so not sure it's available in Florida.

Yes, it is, at my Publix where I work! I have never tried that one, had no idea its from Texas!:p

Faith - give it a try! I think you'll like it. :) Us Texans are serious about our barbecue. ;)

Jack Daniel's original number 7 or we create our own mix of (ketchup, worchestire, carolina treat, vinegar, butter, and anything else we think to toss in)

What is carolina treat? I've never heard of it.

I always make my own. It's got some ketchup, worchestire sauce, brown sugar, onion, fresh ground pepper and I can't remember what else. Guess I should write out the recipe some day.

I've never heard of Carolina Treat either.

We usually use Bulls Eye Original.

K.C. Masterpiece!!!!!!!!the best,

It may be an NC thing...not sure. I know that it's on the same aisle as all the other sauces and ketchup...typically closer to the worchestire sauce...and it's orange.

LOL and I just noticed most of us on this thread are in NC

Sweet Baby Ray's or Famous Dave's, both original.

I've lived in NC my entire life and have never heard of it. I'll have to look for it and see just what it is. Maybe we don't have it up here in the mountains.
