What kind and how many animals do you have?

I have one very large blue tabby cat who just turned 13 (but acts like he's 2). I'm thinking about also adopting a dog but that will have to wait until after I get done with a ton of traveling (some of it with said cat) over the next 2 months.

they're all 2 years old, they were born only weeks apart.

i want to get a few dogs too, but DH thinks that 3 cats are quite enough. to be fair, the boy cat thinks he's a dog, i swear......

I have a twelve year old Brittany named Misty. At one point we had two dogs, a cat, and a tankful of fish. I'll tell you what I would love is a hedgehog. They have one at my daughters school and she is the sweetest thing.

We have one dog, Champ who is a boxer and he will be 5 on Friday

We have been *thinking* of getting him a little brother or sister for company but he is so spoiled I'm not sure how he would like it

Well, I have 3 insane cats, one hamster and around 30 sparrows that live on my deck (i feed them, clean there mess, and provide extra nesting material and hidding places... In return they do there buiness on my landlords car) Im looking at adopting a hamster if I can find a special needs one (I like those pets without a chance.) and mabey a pleco to watch (or some tetras)

Currently we have:

A dog who is now 7 years old. She's a King Cavalier Spaniel Mix and has been a wonderful dog over the 3 years we've had her. She is my doggie.

We've got 2 cats - one female white calico, just over 1 year old now. She's a go, go, go kitty and adores DS14. She meets him at the door and sleeps with him. When he's not home, then I'm her best friend. We got her when she was 12 weeks old and she's fearless.

The 2nd cat is an annoying gray tabbie who is definitely not the sharpest knife in the drawer. He's 2 years old and we just got him 4 months ago. It may get better as he gets more used to our household. He does like to hang out with DD10 though and she's a big cat person so she's happy with that.

I've also got freshwater fish. What type varies depending on which ones survive.

I have an 11 year old Chihuahua/Jack Russel mix named Falula I picked her and her sister Kiki up at the SPCA almost 5 years ago. (Kiki passed away 2 years ago) I had gone to look for a puppy and when I saw the sisters and how old they were and was told they would most likely never be adopted my heart broke for them and I took them home with me. I think I will always adopt older hard to place animals from now on.

A lot of animal lovers on here, cool! DD11 is gone for a few days with her df and I have animal duty. She wrote down for me the animals feeding,etc schedules.

Our kitten was from a rescue and is FIV positive. We knew it going into getting him, but we just have to be vigilant of seeing if he gets a cold,etc to take him to the vet quickly.

Every morning, the kitten cries loudly for his brother to come in the room to see him. THen he will rub his head and purr or more like make a sound like a VW beetle against the GS's snout. Jump down and go in and out of GS"s legs. BUT, I am glad they get along so well.

So many of you, rescuing these animals who were just tossed away or adopting siblings, they are so lucky to have you.

All are rescues except the chickens, hermit crab, and guinea pig.

He is absolutely darling. One day I am going to get a mini-rex. I think they are one of the most sweetest and playful rabbits I've ever seen. Our Lionheads can be little grumps sometimes but are so cuddly and cute that we can overlook their moodiness.

Mini-rex are awesome bunnies! They have the softest fur and my bunny doesn't shed half as much as my previous rabbit who was a Holland Lop. This little devil is the smartest little critter I've had so far. He has figured out how to get on to the kitchen counter by jumping from floor to chair to kitchen table to the counter, and helping himself to the bananas in the fruit bowl. He's litter box trained and usually has the run of the house when someone is at home.

Lionheads are so cute, I love their "hair-do's".

We have eight cats - three of which are fosters and most have names that relate to Disney in some way or another. Alley, Mickey, Mouse, Tinkerbell, Jessie, Florida, Cornelius, and Scrappy

A Pound Puppy Mutt who is almost 7 named Piper T. Dog

A Boston Terrier who is almost 3 named Rupert B. Puppenstein

A foster Boston Terrier who is four named Count Dogula

Just one dog.
Her name is Jessie, she's going on 13 years old this summer. We think she is some sort of beagle mix, but no one knows for sure.

This was taken a few year ago - all around her eyes and nose is gray now.

I used to have a hamster, Mango, but she moved on to the great hamster wheel in the sky back in November

and those are the only pets I've had.
