I can't seem to find this info on the boards but I'm sure it's somewhere. I'm wondering what items can be carried on to the MK rides. ex.> digital camera, water bottle, souvenirs???
This will be our first trip to DW (11-29/12-2) and I'm learning a LOT from this site. But I am clueless as to what to expect once we walk through the gates.
If cameras are not allowed on the rides, what do you do with them? :confused3
Thanks!

this is what i love, love, love about disney...i have never had a problem taking my backpack with me on all the rides. i've never had to leave my stuff anywhere. i like when you can take your stuff with you everywhere, unlike fiesta texas...so easy to get it stolen.

I also carry a small backpack to hold those kind of things and have taken it on every ride in WDW. Most rides you can just put it on the floor between your feet, but on the more agressive roller coasters we just wedge it in beside us with one arm through the straps. I wouldn't carry alot of souveniers though, just because you don't want to be trying to get several bags in and out of the rides.

Keep in mind, if you are staying in one of the Disney resorts, you can have most of the DW shops send your souvenirs to your resort for you. This way you don't have to carry it around. This helped me when we went in 2002 because I bought a few breakable Christmas ornaments...I was so glad not to have to worry about them. We were in All Star Movies resort --- we just had to pick up the items later at the gift shop at the resort.

We also brought a back pack and I agree with the others...it's easy to carry & put everything you need in there. I never had any problems taking it on any of the attractions.

Have fun!

Yep, I just carry a backpack around with me. I have never had annnny problems at all :rotfl:

Yeah, same here - bring ziploc or a plastic bag for anything electronic that shouldn't get wet, however. It's possible to get soaked in many parts of the park, not just the rides. A lot of the times, things randomly shoot water at you. Always be prepared ;)

We take a big old denim bag (so the husband can carry it too) and throw everything in there. I carry a small water proof camera case. Never had a problem with anything on any attraction. The bumpier ones will sometimes have a pouch or container for storing your stuff. Like Kali River Rapids has a place in the middle of the raft to put your things into. Mission:Space has individual metal containers. Dinosaur has mesh bags in front of you. Two places I can think of where the strap of the bag gets looped around my ankle for safe keeping are Rock N Roller Coaster and Space Mountain. Every place else is relatively safe, IMO.
