What is your "Secret" Movie??

I love Dead Man on Campus - I can watch that again & again & laugh every time. :happytv:

School Ties, BABY!

When it was in the theaters I was 22 or 23. I saw it (by myself) 7 times in the theaters. Now that I'm 34, I still watch it, over and over and over. School Ties is a cinematic masterpiece!

Well, some have been mentioned, like

Xanadu
Grease 2
The Pirate Movie (gotta love Frederick  )

But I also love:

Bring it On
Tremors

and (do you remember this one?)

Solarbabies!

Footloose . . . especially the last dance sequence with all of the kids. Just makes me smile.

Grease and Grease 2!! And they are playing back to back on ABC Family tomorrow night!! :cool1: :woohoo: :happytv:

Weekend at Bernies.

My friends just don't get it - how can you laugh at them dragging a dead guy around? And of course there is plenty of adolescent behavior. I cannot stand most of those movies, but man, when they staple his toupe back on his head . .. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Also, The Grifters. The tension between Angelica Huston and John Cusack is palpable. But I've watched it like 10 times and my family knows it. So I watch it alone, when nobody is watching me . . . ..

I have to watch All the President's Men every time it comes on. I think it is the only time I will tune into Public TV because it is always on there.

Some others:

Saving Private Ryan
Kelly's Heroes
The Dirty Dozen
Most Tom Clancy movies
Steel Magnolias

My picks were: LA BAMBA & MIDNIGHT MADNESS but my family told me everyone loves those :guilty: :confused3

That is soooo funny. I was thinking Midnight Madness as I was reading your post! Uh, Uh FAGA BEEFE? The sea is reversed. SS Itari is mixed up and blind!
I thought my sister and I were the only two who ever saw this!

Into the Woods...

not ashamed, but I like to be in my own space when I watch it and I cry everytime ...also love Joanna Gleason for some reason...... :wizard:

I love to watch Clue, Clueless and the Harry Potter movies...My husband refuses to watch any of them with me because I say the lines with the movie or say, " that's not in the book!! That doesn't happen there!! Hey, this is out of order!!!" Actually I do that with alot of movies, no matter how good they are :rolleyes1 ...Lord of the Rings for example.

I enjoy Dangerous Liasons too....I like to compare it to the updated version~ Cruel Intentions. My husband watches that with me just to see Sarah Michelle Gellar. His secret viewing pleasure is... all the Buffy and Angel seasons on DVD, just so he can watch the chicks fight.

STAMPEDE EARL!!!!!

Yep, anytime we happen upon Tremors or one of it's sequels on TV we can't help but stop and watch.

The Santa Clause
Clueless
Napoleon Dynamite

My friends alreayd know these but I'd say Grease and Grease 2 of course.

Others: The Cutting Edge, Clueless, 10 Things I hate about you, ok about any teeny booper movie everymade. LOL

Does anyone else watch the movies when you can catch them on TV even though you own them in every format ever made? My DH and I laugh since we do it all the time and then we say its always better when its a surpise to catch it on live. LOL

Fried Green Tomatoes...my brother and I went to the theatre by ourselves to see it, because it was a double feature with the Babe Ruth movie. So, we had to sit through Fried Green Tomatoes first...I was ten, he was seven, and we bawled like little schoolgirls through the whole thing. I'm sure we looked hilarious...people in the theatre all staring at two little boys by themselves crying their eyes out at fried green tomatoes.

- Weekend at Bernies II---a dancing corpse...what's not to love??!!

-Dirty Dancing---"NOBODY puts baby in the corner!!"

-My Fellow Americans---OH MY GOSH...I almost pee my pants every time
I watch this one...it's so funny it hurts!

-Armeggedon---Ben Afflack can take an animal cracker safari with me
anytime!!

-Happily Ever After, A Cinderella Story--- Don't ask, I don't even know why
I just love the movie!

-and not really a movie...but the DVD's of Punky Brewster!! I LOVE Punky Brewster!!

A second vote for Coal Miner's Daughter, here. And, along the same lines, The Buddy Holly Story; I've seen both countless times, and I'd probably be watching if they were on right now!

Dirty Dancing
Cry Baby (with a very young Johnny Depp)
To Wong Foo

Mommie Dearest is my number one guilty pleasure, but it's no secret. Everyone knows it. ;)

Mine are stupid Lifetime movies. I love "15 & Pregnant" with Kirsten Dunst. :confused3 But my favorite is "A Woman Scorned: The Betty Broderick Story". I know it's about a woman murdering her ex (I love my Dh by the way) but I just can't stop watching it. Meredith Baxter Birney is so good as this crazy lady. I tivo'd the sequel too! :teeth:

Some of those Lifetime movies are just too much! My favorite one is Co-ed Call Girl with Tori Spelling.
