Any big time fights?

Jim, I have judged 35 world title fights in such places as Italy, England, Japan, China, Canada, Las Vegas, Atlantic City and LA. I have judges such fighters as Roy Jones (twice), Jr., Felix Trinidad, Shane Mosley, Roberto Duran, Tommy Morrison, Vernon Forrest, James Toney( 3 title bouts), Vinny Pazienza, Jesse James Leija, Fernando Vargas, Jorge Paez, Diego Corrales, Buster Douglas and Meldrick Taylor. Last big fight I worked was last year when Zab Judah TKO'd Cory Spinks on Showtime. I have worked fights on HBO and Showtime about 25 times over the years and ESPN2 maybe 75 times. Besides the 35 world title bouts, I have officiated another 30 or so lesser world title bouts.

Boxing fans are few and far between so I hope you know some of the names I judged.

I was a SAHM for 8 years, now I am a substitute teacher, before I was a SAHM I was a CPA in a bank. DH is a Respiratory Specialist in Health Physics in a Nuclear Power Station.

DH works for CSX too. He'd love to be able to roll back to conductor, but he's got too many underneath him. Sad when seniority isn't always a good thing. :teeth:

Hey we are a CSX family too! :thumbsup2 My DH works out of Willard Ohio and currently tries to work the Chicago board when he can. The yard extra board he would work every other 8 hours since he is remote qualified.

I just work in a *****house, make my living lying on my back :)

Well, good for you. Have at it :thumbsup2

I mentioned in the 2nd post that I'm a legal secretary, but that just sounds so boring compared to a lot of other occupations here, so I'll mention what my dbf does for a living since it's so much more interesting. :rotfl: He's a web designer, specializing in internet porn. :thumbsup2

I'm a software engineer. The rest of the time I am the computer repairgirl for everyone I know.

I wonder if our DH's know each other! Mine used to work out of Willard about 7 years ago when we lived in Fort Wayne, IN. He now works out of Ottawa and takes the train to Chicago.

That is awesome!! I would love to have seen some of those fights in person, but DH and I had to settle for TV.
