What Is Your Occupation?

I am a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner working for an AirEvac company, and I am married to a Gastroenterologist. Boy, we sound like an exciting couple!! :cool1:

Way more exciting than a general dentist married to a periodontist. Believe me when I say that we are they last people anyone wants to talk to at a dinner party! :teeth:

I am a bookkeer/transcriptionist/SAHM. I have the joy of calling clients while trying to keep the noise of a fighting 6 and 3 yo in the distant background. You could say I only work for very understanding people (either that or they learn quickly to communicate via email).

I am a Transportation Service Manager for a division of a large forest products company. I handled truck rate/issues/etc until last year now I work with the railroads. I have to get my hair colored way more often now.

SAHM since 1998 :cloud9:
Nursing student since 2004 :teacher:
LPN as of Aug 2006 :cheer2: (but not working - still in school for my RN)
Will be an RN in 2007 :dance3:

Student/substitute teacher and DH is a Vehicle Service Technician for an ambulance company.

I am a 911 Dispatcher and a Vol EMT. DH is a fulltime Paramedic. I get to tell him where to go and he can't argue with me. I love my job. I get to tell a whole bunch of Sheriffs Deputies, Ems People, and firemen where to go and they can't argue with me either. I couldn't ask for a better job!

I'm a staff analyst (which is a fancy way of saying aide) to one of the politicians here in Boston. I love my job. I start grad school in a few weeks, at night. I'm going for a Master's in Public Administration. Don't ask me what it's about, because I don't really know. I just hear it's a great way to meet guys. :thumbsup2

I always wanted to be a nurse, but I tend to pass out at the sight of blood and/or needles.

I am working on my MPA also!! (one class left, will graduate Dec. 16). With your experience in working with poloiticians, you should have no problems in finding a job when you get out. It is a good way to meet men, except I have found that they are all older than me (I'm 27), but good luck to you in that area!!! (and in school too)

I am a claims examiner.. I pay health insurance claims.. I love it..

Teacher, but I can't afford Dis vacations on my salary. Thank God, DH makes a better living. Living well is the best revenge, that's why we try to live at Disney. :dance3:

I run a printing press. We print soft drink labels, coffee bags you see in most hotels and restaurants, and some health bar items. Dirty work, but it gets me to Disney every year :thumbsup2

DH and I are both attorneys and parents to a wonderful 7 year old DS! :thumbsup2

I work for a US based airline out of Manchester NH. I was a Customer Service Agent until I begged to be let out back with the planes. I now load and unload all the bags, marshall the planes in and push them back out. I have a great time until they beg me to go back inside to work Customer Service because they need the help. People at the airport are just plain nasty most of the time. My job doesnt pay well....but I do get to fly anywhere for free :teeth: . Leaving this Friday for my 5th trip to England.
