What is your NATURAL Hair Structure?

We all have wavy hair except for one brother whose hair is curly to the point of kinky. My dad always said he had wavy hair, "It stood right up and waved goodbye." Needless to say in his later years he was follicly challenged like the winky guy here ----->.

I had soft curls as a young child but the only way I get curls in my hair now is with a perm!

The top layer is really super curly! The bottom half of my hair is just wavy. There is no consistency, so I just straighten it all!

My hair was pin straight until college when it became wavy...must have been all that beer!

Now, it's wavy if I wash it and let it air dry. If I dry it with a hair dryer it's straight...go figure. You didn't have a voting option for "My hair doesn't know what it is doing".

Oops I forgot to say that my whole family has wave/curl to their hair.

joats, blowdrying will automatically straighten hair more than natural air drying. If I want my hair pin straight, I have to blow dry and then take a ceramic iron to it to get it straight. Otherwise I have the soft curl/wavy thing going

I had straight hair with a little flip at the end when I was little, then I started getting it permed. The last perm I got was in 9th grade; then after that I decided I wanted to grow out the perm. I'm 28 now, and it still hasn't happened.

So I voted for wavy, since I guess that's what it is now. I can either dry it straight (which I like better) or scrunch it up to get the wave to actually look nice.

Mine is mixture..........straight & curly. Yeah that may sound but it is true.............

It is straight if I keep it short, if I let it reach my shoulders or longer, then the ends are ringlets.

As a child I had tight curls. Now it is pin straight. Not that I don't like it, but it would be nice to hold a curl now & then. I tried perms, but they damaged my hair too much. My sister is the same.......we got it from our dad. My mom's hair is curly & so is my brothers, well until he start loosing some on top!

All of my kids have straight hair like me, but their colors are identical to their father! It's funny when I cut their hair, I just sweep all the hair up together after I'm done doing 4 cuts & it's all the same color.
