I am leaving in a couple of weeks for the 4 day....

I was WONDERing :rotfl: what your favorite thing to do, eat, play, drink, see...etc on the cruise.

I am getting a little excited :cheer2:

Nothing.

Absolutely nothing.

By the pool with a drink and doing nothing.

October can't come fast enough...

We fly in on March 17th and board the Wonder on the 20th. First cruise for us! We are REALLY getting excited and packing like crazy!! :cool1:

Kris

Enjoying myself relaxing & NOT doing housework, cooking, or cleaning. :) :) :)

Savoring every minute of no housework, cleaning, etc etc...

But most of all looking at my children's faces as they are still in awe of everything around them..

:earsboy:

Wonderful, long, delicious meals with my family. And the rain forrest room!

Ordering room service mickey bar ice creams and sitting on verandah watching the ocean! :mickeybar

I loved the dining experience when we were on the Wonder in 2001. I can't wait to be on the Magic for the 1st time and to try Palo's for the first time!

Book, beer, deck chair (with an occasional dip in the pool).

Enjoy doing nothing domestic. No work, no cleaning, no laundry and no talking on the phone.

I think of all of the things I liked best, I enjoyed Castaway Cay.

EAT!!!!! :mickeybar :cake:

(Before I give anyone a wrong impression, I plan all year for this..I lose about 7-8 lbs. before cruising, and workout 4 - 5 hours per week, and eat healthy at home.

All rules are broken for DCL!

Having someone else pick up my dirty wet towels.

Having someone else fetch the ketchup, drink refills, butter, straws, napkins, forks, spoons, knives....etc.

Not doing dishes for a week.

No grocery shopping.

No phone.

No playdates.

No carpool.

No car.

Not making my bed.

No cooking.

Being entertained instead of being the entertainer.

Eating as many desserts as I can without getting sick!
And ofcourse the usual no cleaning, housework, grocery shopping, and not having to entertain the family, DCL takes care of that for the week.

April 2nd cannot come fast enough.

I like to do absolutely nothing. Just lay on a lounge chair and veg out. Maybe read a book or crochet.

I've been back a week now and what I miss most is just sitting in the sun and the smell of the ocean!!! I really enjoyed the restaurants onboard too, good food and lots of fun!

Can I just surmise what my favorite things will be...
*Relaxing....by a pool, on a quiet deck in the sun, with a book (not just a quickie magazine like home)
*Real time with DH...alone by a pool, on a quiet deck in the sun, in the stateroom...
*Restaurant menus and food where cost is not a concern...
*No cleaning, cooking...all that stuff
*Balanced time with the kids and WITHOUT the kids!!!
---As a stay-at-home mom...I don't feel that pressure to play makeup trying to have "quality time" with the kids...I do that every day! So, I am very much looking forward to the kids' clubs!
*Did I mention afternoon/evening alone time with DH  :cloud9:
*making new friends and meeting the ones I have only emailed so far
*late evenings in a bar/dance club atmosphere without having to pay a babysitter!!
*Did I mention rendez-vous' with DH while kids in clubs?? :goodvibes
