What is your favorite position

I'm really having a hard time holding back from this one;)

Left hand's at about the 8:00 position, and the right hand's free to do whatever; lately, that's been fiddling with the remote for the new XM radio I got.

Oh, the inappropriate directions this thread could have taken!

I usually have my left hand at about 11. I'm right handed but I'm more comfortable steering with my left.

I'm really curious as to what the right hand is really doing.

OMG, you didn't start this thread!!!! :rotfl2:

UM, I'm going to go with 10 and 2...I like my hands to be on top of the steering wheel. :drive:

I know that they are recommending another position in drivers ed and I've tried it, but I just can't get used to it.

To quote the Tigster - "Must not get points, must not get points....."
:worship:

Backing slowly away from yet another thread tonight! WTH are you all trying to do to me? Or should I say what am I doing to myself.

I'm not even going to post on this thread.

Oh, crap, I just did.

I like being on top too, but every so often, it feels right to let your hands slip down underneath the wheel:scared1:

I'll bet changing positions has some fitness advantages, as well as mixing it up can make the entire experience more interesting. :rolleyes1

Did you know that they're not teaching 10 and 2 anymore? My little BIL was in driver's ed a few years ago and he told me they don't teach it anymore because of airbags. Apparently, the airbag deploying causes your hands to fly up and hit you in the face or something. Now they teach 5 and 7 or something like that...

If they are teaching 5 and 7, they will be needing those airbags much more often.

I am :car: away from this thread with both hands on the wheel. Wherever I won't get in trouble for having them. :thumbsup2

Myst

Speaking of yard work, has anyone seen my WHEEL BARREL?

:)

I drive with my left hand and my right hand is usually draped over the console.:)

BTW - when I saw this thread, I figured it must be an "Absolute" night.....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: ;)

I was VERY careful with my wording, know that I often walk on the edge of gettin points. :rotfl2:

You people are killing me!

I am trying so hard to keep up a squeaky clean image here. . . :teeth:

I don't enjoy driving much anymore. I try to do it as little as possible. When I do it's usually a straight and boring 3 and 9.
