What is your favorite little (or big) snack at DLR??

Favorite snacks:
Churro
Funnel cakes w/ brownie topping yum!
Frozen lemonade
Ice cream sundaes from the ice cream store on Main Street
Sliced Apples and Caramel dip from the little counter window on Main Street near the lockers - (Do they still serve this?) I couldn't find it in January of this year.
Turkey leg
Chicken strips and fries from stage door cafe (big enough for 2 adults)

For me it has to be POPCORN. I love the popcorn, I am a huge popcorn addict.

pomme frittes...delicious!

and these oh so wonderful homemade marshmellows covered in thick gooey caramel then dipped in chocolate. i always have to get some to take home! They are so good i can only eat a slice of one each day.

Where are the funnel cakes? I missed those!

DH and I must have a waffle cone at Burrr Bank Ice Cream in CA. Mine must be mint choc chip.

A new must have- Peanut Brittle. DH was buying coffee at Market House on Main Street and picked up the peanut brittle. I was sort of "ehh, fine". Then I tasted it! I kept eating pieces and it is wonderful!!!! Will get more next time!

I like chocolate filled croissants from Blue Ribbon Bakery.
Veggies and ranch from the fruit/veggie stands.
Churros
Cotton candy

Mine are churros, a Mickey shaped pretzel with cheese dip, cotton candy and popcorn. Great now I'm hungry!

The ones I could do without - the cream cheese filled pretzel and the turkey leg. Although I've never had the turkey leg, the look of it just turns me off.

But I'm determined to try a Tigger Tail this trip!

My favorites are:

Cream Cheese Filled Pretzels
Cotton Candy
Mickey Bars:mickeybar

Corn dogs from Corn Dog Castle in DCA (not the hot links though!)
Pineapple spears

I really did not enjoy the Dole whip (although my DS loved the Dole whip float).

Now I have to try the peanut brittle - great, because my "to do list" was not big enough ;-)

We will definitely have to try the asparagus bacon from Bengal on our next trip. I've seen it, but have never tried it for whatever reason. It sounds tasty. Does anyone have a pic? I actually haven't seen it, but I've seen it on the menu. My favorite snack is the Dole whip. I get one per day, sometimes more.

I personally enjoyed the frozen lemonade - great way to cool off and very easy to share. I did not like the dole whip (and I love pineapple). I wish I had tried a pineapple spear - they looked yummy! (Please don't ream me for this next comment, it's just my opinion and I know I'm in the minority) I also thought the churro was well, a churro - nothing extra special. The corn dogs are awesome, but I consider that a meal not a snack. I love the hot chocolate - but now that Nestle is no longer a sponsor that might be changing...

I have to have three things on every trip!

1. apple pie caramel apple (sometimes more than 1)

2. churro (sometimes more than 1)

3. Hunny pot rice krispie treat (sometimes more than 1)

:thumbsup2

Dole float all the way. Last trip DH and DS ate MY float while I waited in line to buy THEM hot dogs. Nice. Will buy 2 at a time from now on.

I have to say Dole whip at the tiki room and blueberry muffin from the blue ribbon bakery- without those it just doesn't really feel like a trip to Disneyland :thumbsup2

Oh, I had forgotten I did get one skewer of the bacon warpped asparagus that was undercooked -- the asparagus was woody and the bacon way way way undercooked. I Did take back and they replaced it. From that time on I do look and make sure the asparagus and bacon are done. You know the old saying everything is good with bacon LOL.

Thanks to the poster that reminded me I did get one undercooked skewer. Nice thing is they made it right :)

Happy snacking

GASP! :rotfl:

My sister doesn't care for them either. I guess the appeal to me is that it's really the only place I ever get a churro, and it's like a cinnamonie sugarie doughnut *drool*.

I totally understand what it's like to not like something that everyone else likes. *coughbaconwrappedaparaguscough*

While I'm here, I'd like to put my vote in for churros. :lmao:

After the earthquake we waited 45 minutes in line at Bengal BBQ. That was the first time we ate there. We each got a meat skewer and then got one veg skewer to split between us. And we got a MM pretzel with cheese to share too. Yum! But that was really lunch, not snack. We will definately go back again, hopefully with a shorter line! However, asparagus in bacon doesn't sound good to me. Mostly because I like my bacon VERY cripsy. Nothing worse than chewy bacon. :confused3

does beignet at DTD count? :)
