Hi, princess&tig. I voted for the Yachtsman Steakhouse, although I am not convinced that it is part of BCV/BC. I may be in the minority on that, but I am a tad stubborn.
We do eat there every trip, as it is on our 'must do' list.

My favorite on your list that is 'positively DVC' would be Artist Point.

Thanx for the interesting poll!!

By the way, WELCOME to the DIS boards! :)

Maistre Gracey....sometimes I get the feeling that you are my twin, separated at birth!!

I also voted for Yachtsman Steakhouse, and had exactly the same thoughts about whether that was part of BVC/BC. My second choice was Spoodles though! :)

We love Whispering Canyon -- just a fun family kinda place! :) And that lodge, oh that lodge... but does that make it a DVC restaurant (since I guess really it's WL, not so much VWL?)

Of those listed, is the only true DVC restaurant Olivia's? (Which, by the way, we have enjoyed, although not in the same way nor to the extent of Whispering Canyon!)

As for Seashore Sweets... a nice place to visit, but they need more flavors of ice cream! :)

My mostly male family (dh and 2 sons outnumbering me and dd) would probably want to cast a vote for the Lost Boys Club (ESPN). No trip is complete without a visit. My sons think the bathrooms are just WAYYY too cool! ("When are we going to put TV's with OUR toilets, Mom?!?)

What is the Barbecue Grill at BWV? And where is it? Can anyone comment on the food and menu there?

Thanx!...

Okay, we voted for Beaches and Cream. Is it the "best" restauraunt on the poll? 'Course not. Artist Point and Flying Fish are both fabulous, with delicious and unique offerings. But our favorite is B&C. It succeeds marvelously at what it tries to do, be an old-fashioned ice cream parlour. Also, they have what is probably the best hamburger in WDW.

As we enter the 3rd week of our Weight Watchers diet, we find we already want to save up some "points" for a peanut butter and hot fudge No Way Jose sundae for our trip this October!

I think that is supposed to be the Big River Grille & Brewing Co. on the boardwalk. If that is the restaurant, we eat there often. It has good food, not excellent but good for a quick meal after Illuminations. We love to sit at the outside tables and take in the beautiful boardwalk atmosphere. The grilled meatloaf is especially good!

For the OP, my absolute favorite DVC restaurant is Flying Fish with Artist Point and Yachtsman Steakhouse close seconds.

Our favorite is not listed. If you like diverse flavors, Boma is awesome.
Hi, betslinc. Although I agree that Boma is a great restaurant, this poll is specifically for restaurants associated with a DVC resort.

Wishful thinking perhaps?... ;)

I put in my 2 cents worth and voted for Flying Fish. It was a real toss-up between that and Artist Point. I love it when you just can't decide......

Artist Point was my vote, although it is a Wilderness Lodge restaurant. Yachtsman Steakhouse, another great dining experience is a Yacht Club restaurant. I believe the only legitimate DVC restaurant at WDW is Olivias. And it has great hamburgers.

My vote goes to Artist Point, although I could just as easily voted for Flying Fish.

I thought of Flying Fish but we think it has slipped in quality recently.

Very interesting, and dynamic poll. Everytime I look at the results, I see something developing differently.

It should be noted for any people who are not familiar with the restaurants, that these places range from informal walk up service, to fine dining.
I think the informal walk up service is in the lead!

That is why I think the poll was well written. It did not ask for the best restaurant, or the fanciest restaurant. It asked for your favorite restaurant.

At first in mid 90's I did not care for OLivia's it is now one of my favorite's.In my opinion it has improved 100% since I first dining experience at Olivia's.Great menu now and a chef that know's what is required to be a good dining venue at WDW.

Sorry about the BBQ at the BWV, I got the restaurants out of the book. Thanks for the welcome. I love Disney and I am a new member. I love to eat at WDW. Thanks foe the replies. I am very surpised at the results!!

I have never tried BAC but it looks like like a great place.

Thanks!!

We like B&C and go there at least once during our stay in WDW but on our last trip we enjoyed the ESPN Club too. Annmarie
