What is your favorite Disney CD?

I bought La Vida Mickey while I was down in WDW a couple of weeks ago and love it. What CDs are some of the other songs they play before Fantasmic on? Also the "hold" music at CRO, lol.

I looked at Disneymania I and II... looks interesting but have confusing reviews on Amazon.

I have a lot of the "classic" Disney CDs, so I'm looking for some dancey type remakes. Any suggestions?

My favorite Disney CD is the Millenium CD that we picked up in 2000. Danceable, though, it is not.

I suggest checking out www.amazon.com first, keyword Disney. Then go to places like www.mainstreetmegastore.com (though their prices seem a bit high to me, at least you can see what's out there).

A lot of the background music you hear in the parks is not put out by Disney. Supposedly it would too difficult to get all the rights to the songs, or something along those lines.

Millenium CD, easily. Followed closely by Where Magic Lives.

As far as dance/pop, my favorite is Radio Disney #2.

Another vote for the Millenium Celebration!! You should see DH while we blast this out in the van when we are on the way to Disney....he "conducts" with one hand while driving with the other!! He really gets into it too! He has gotten some looks over the years....but I don't have the heart to tell him!! Sometimes, the kids even slump down in their seats so passing cars can't see them!!

I love "Music from the Park" but also love Millenium Celebration and Magic in the Streets, which is all of the parade music.

When I was calling before our last trip, they were playing music from the 1st Classic Disney CD. I have all 5 of those & 3 of Disney's Greatest. (I'm not sure if there are more of those or not??)

I think my favorite, though, is the park music. I just got Where Magic Lives for C'mas & really like it a lot.

A friend also loaned me his "The Music of Disneyland, Walt Disney World and Epcot" from 1988. I wish I could still get a copy of that one!

My favorite Disney cd so far is the 1st cd from the Classic Disney series. We have so many Disney cds, but I always like that one.

I've got 3 favorites -- though one is a "cheater"

In no particular order are the Pirates soundtrack (from the movie -- it *was* a Disney movie, so it counts as a Disney CD to me), Millineum Celebration, and the compilation CD I've made with all the 5 (6?) Disney Classics CDs which I have.

Following pretty close behind those are an import that I think was called the DL / WDW Magic Vacation or something like that -- has 3 songs from Disneyland and 3 from WDW, including Remember the Magic and Spectromagic, and also the Magic in the Streets, which has the parade music from the 100 Years of Magic parades.

right now...my fave is Instrumental Impressions...it's so soothing and romantic! we used it for our wedding a few years back...

The instrumental impressions cd is really nice I love the Official album of WDW, but the cds with all the Haunted Mansion and POTC tracks are great too.
