After YEARS of working for a lite rock (Barry Manilow all the time) station, then a small stint with rap ( ) I am now working a Classic Rock station! Some of the songs catapult me back in time!!

Right now they're playing the Doobie Brothers "Long Train Running", one of my all time faves!

Some others I LOVE

We Are the Champions -- Queen

Layla - Derek and the Dominos

What are yours? Our PD needs input! :teeth:

Thunder Road- Bruce! and any other Springsteen song for that matter

Turn the Page- Bob Seeger

I love G n R (Sweet Child is my favorite), but most don't consider that classic yet

Dream On- Aerosmith

Stairway to Heaven - Led Zepplin

Toys in the Attic - Aerosmith

Slow Ride - Foghat

Frankenstein - Edgar Winter Group

Hello, It's Me - Todd Rundgren

I love G n R (Sweet Child is my favorite), but most don't consider that classic yet

I was fixing to say...OH MY GAWD THATS A CLASSIC! I'M OLD!!!! LOL!

Stairway to Heaven is a favorite

also don't know if its a classic or not buy Rough Boy by ZZ top!

Jungleland - Springsteen
Foreplay/Long Time - Boston
Shooting Star - Bad Co.

I was fixing to say...OH MY GAWD THATS A CLASSIC! I'M OLD!!!! LOL!

I'm a 42 year old head-banger what can I say! I love the classics of course, but my taste in music has changed with the times. Ryan's first concert was Bush and Veruca Salt at age 6...we're a nutty bunch.

Scenes From An Italian Restaurant- Billy Joel

Goodbye Yellowbrick Road- Elton John

I love threads like these. Let's see, songs that just take me back and make me reminisce. I guess a few would be:

The Cover of Rolling Stone by Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show
Stuck in the Middle With You by Stealers Wheel
Drift Away by Dobie Gray

Time to dig out some oldies now!!

Adam aka Big Dude

Number 1:
LAY-LA ... you got me on my knees
Lay-LA ... I'm begging darling please

I'll stop now, but I don't want to. :teeth:

Definitely Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith! I love that song...and anything by Kansas! I love them too! :)

What, no Beatles?

Hey Jude and Let it Be come to mind.

Also, does Van Halen count? I listen to a station that has current and classic rock so I never know.

Hendrix!!!! any old song will do...

Janis Joplin- Piece of My Heart
Lynyrd Skynyrd- Free Bird

Heartbreaker/Livin Lovin Maid - Led Zeppelin (Must be played together. Do no attempt to play separately. It drives us Zeppelin fans insane)

Rock & Roll - Led Zeppelin
Dust in the Wind - Kansas
Bad Company - Bad Co.
China Grove - Doobie Bros.
Black Magic Woman - Santana
Don't you Want Somebody to Love - Jefferson Airplane

I'd better stop now.....this could go on all day.
