I think all of the DVC resorts are very nice. I have stayed in 4/8. OKW, BC, SSR, and most recently AKLKV. My favorite - BC hands down. :goodvibes

What is you favorite DVC resort you have stayed in.

Also, the one i would like to try next is BLT. I just LOVE the monorail!!!

If you have not stayed at all of them, which on would you like to try next??

I'm interested to seeing DISers answers on this one!

TIA all! :wave2:

bump.

I would love to hear some answers, and if you do not own DVC, or have never been, which one seems the most appealing to you?

I've stayed in AKV, OKW, SSR, BCV, BLT and VB. VWL is next month. :)

I'd have to say AKV, because (1) it's home (2) the ambience is so relaxed and (3) there are so many options on how to use your points.

But they all have the special attributes.

OKW-The chill factor and the low points.
SSR-Walking distance to DD.
BCV-The pool.
BLT-The monorail.

very good reasons for each resort. I agree with them all. I also thought AKL was very relaxing and nice. and the perk of being so close to the animals was just incredible!

#1 Favorite: Beach Club (stayed there the most....6 times)

#2 AKV (stayed there at least 5 times...not sure how many but our trips are in my signature. We enjoy both Kidani & Jambo).

#3 BLT

We've not stayed at BWV (no desire to) or (VWL).

I have owned at BCV since it was built. The only one not tried is BLT.

I love BCV for location. I love AKV for the resort.

That's nice BCV is your home resort. and yes the location is great! There is so much to do in walking distance!

We own @ WL (my DH's fav) and BW and enjoy them both:goodvibes, although i admit I bought BW for lower standard point requriements.

WL struck a cord with us for the theme (Xmas is amazing) and when we bought it was closest one to MK, where we spend the majority of our stay. We enjoy the pool and marina here too.

We don't often wind up staying @ BW anymore, so many other resorts have captured our fancy but I do enjoy the pool.:clown:

Other favorite resorts:

CR - MK view and the monorail rumbling thru in the am as a wake up call

BLT - the MK view:thumbsup2, contemporary decor and ability to walk to the park

BCV - SAB!!! a few views of Epcot over the years, and the quick walk back from the park are great. We had experienced issues in service a few years back but I was assured it had been rectified via a management change and we've enjoyed every visit since.

AKV - the standard studios in Jambo with savanah view we were lucky to get (how cool to enjoy a cup of coffee and have a giraffe pass by) & the poolscape is great.

POR - FQ, well themed and very romantic. Not of fan of their food court offerings, but enjoy the one @ Riverside

AS Music has a place in my heart since it was DH & my 1st solo trip to WDW, i'm fond of the main pool and food court is decent. For a spur of the moment get-away we often stay at the AS Sports in the Ducks area...it's quieter and close to the bus/food court of AS Mu.

We have only stayed AKV, loved it! I would like to try OKW next, the rooms seem bigger, love their deck size and parking right outside the door would be great. WLV are on my list, but only during a Christmas visit.

We have stayed at BLT, AK kidani, AK Jambo, OKW, SSR.

our favorite hands down is BLT! We love the access to the monorail. I love seeing the castle from our room.

We have California booke for Nov.

we have BW booked for spring break-- very excited to try this resort.

We have liked all the resorts we have stayed at. :)
so happy with our DVC purchases!!

We own at BLT and AKV but BLT is our favorite because of the monorail. we are staying at OKW in november and looking forward to it. The resort I would like to stay at next is boardwalk. wilderness lodge is next on the wish list we ate there in june and the boat ride from there to the magic kingdom was fun for the kids.

The AKV were very nice. OKW is great also. It is HUGE! The rooms are really big and the pool area is great (with slide!). :cool1:

WL is a great resort! I have only eaten there, but it makes me want to stay there also. I love the location and boatride to MK.

It's interesting that from your list of favorite resorts, at least one is from each of the 4 resort categories!
YOu really have done a lot!!

Also, I am very excited about the GF DVC that is in construction. I can't wait till it opens! It will be great to stay there one day also. :goodvibes

Is everyone else as excited as I am for it to open???

We've stayed at AKV Jambo, OKW, and GCV at Disneyland. So far the GCV are my favorite but they've all been fabulous in their own way. This next trip we're staying at AKV Kidani and the THV. :woohoo:
