What is your Disney Collection?

I have a few stuffed animals: piglet, thumper, eeyore, stitch, minnie, purdee (the female dalmation from 101 ds) and I have a tiny sleeping beauty snow globe. OH! and a figurine of one of the 101 dalmations. When I have my own place and extra cash I'll definitely start really collecting figurines.
Its funny though that I saw this thread because yesterday I went into the Royal Dalton store with my mom and they have BEAUTIFUL figurines including a new line of the disney fairies. I bought this one:

I thought it was pretty awesome :)

That I love seeing the pictures of everyones Disney collections and Disney homes.

You must all be such fun loving people!!

well lets see

we have a nice collection of snowglobes all different sizes. my DW has a collection of pins that she gets each trip to commemorate all the attractions we ride and visit and places we have stayed. many disney holiday ornaments. My personal collection of the ceramic figurines that you used to be able to buy at the disney store and the parks. way back on my first WDW trip i bought a thumper and that started it for me, after about 50 figures later i am still not cured. i wish the Disney store would bring them back. about a dozen coffee mugs, various cells a few plates.....no we dont have a problem here:crazy2: :crazy2:

I collect a little of everything. My largest collections are of Disney trading pins and snowglobes (over 30). I also collect the Disney Precious Moments figurines, antenna toppers, and art prints.

I love collecting and wearing Disney clothes- everytime we go on vacation I get some capri pants and a shirt and a jacket. I have enough disney clothing (I even have disney underwear.) to wear all week long :). This year a few of my students gave me some great Disney hoodies for X-mas and end-of-year presents. I feel that wearing a bit of Disney keeps the magic alive all the time for me.:lovestruc
I do have a collection of Disney DVD's as well. I have the 4 park collection, as well as the Magical Moments, Modern Marvels, and the Disney planning DVD's and a Disneyland DVD ::yes::

I collect everything Mickey. It started out just as a sorcerer mickey collection, but couldn't find things such as a sorcerer mickey rug, etc. So now its all kinds of Mickey, I have a whole room in my house full of Mickey stuff, snowglobes, pillows, blankets, rugs, Mickey tv. :wizard:

I love these threads...especially when everyone starts sharing pics.. :) It makes me remember I am not alone in my love of collecting Disney things. ::yes::

We collect a little of it all I think. We have a couple of Big Figures, around 25 or so snowglobes, lots of ornaments, lots of pins, household items, things for the kids, etc...

Here are some random pics (which I hate how messy they always make things look since I am a little crazy about always makring sure it is all clean..lol).

Keep sharing the pics. I love seeing what all everyone has. ;)

I'm a long time Pooh fan, so I have several Pooh collections. I have several waterglobes, along with some of the Lenox pieces, clocks and the Pooh and Friends collection.
But in the past couple of years, it seems as though we've started to collect more Disney stuff in general. We don't pin trade, but we always get new pins every trip...like ones specific to our resort, favorite rides, the year, etc. I've also started to build a collection of the pre-sale movie litographs.
Since others are sharing their pics, I may as well, too...
This is what's currently displayed on our entertainment center:

I got this on our last trip and LOVE it. It's so beautiful, I decided to leave it on the entertainment center so that it would be a constant reminder of how much fun we had on that trip. (Not to mention it matches my living room to a T!):

I really needed a lamp for this table that the DH made, and found this one on DisneyStore.com. Love it!!:

And lastly, these are pics of my guest bedroom.
I also got these on our last trip down...They were doing these as a buy so much, get it for...at the World of Disney store and the resort gift shops:

Our pin collection is still very small compared to most, but it grows with each trip:

And lastly, one of my favorite things...My Pooh telephone that my Mom bought me for my birthday a few years ago:

Bump. :wizard: (and subscribing...more pictures please!!)

Wonderful Husband likes to get me Eeyore things, but I wouldn't say I've got a collection. I started getting pins last week, during my first visit. I'm not a trader, because I get pins for the places I've been and the things I have done. He's not into things at all, so collecting for him isn't an option.

I love the 'neat' pins...I'm a school nurse and like to wear one or two that catch the kids' attention weekly on my jacket. It's the end of our school year and my current one is Cheshire cat saying "Crazy works for me". We also collect vintage cels and have several. I am really falling in like with the new Precious Moments/Disney collaborations. They are SO cute! :yay:

Huge ornament collection as well as almost all of the diecast "Cars." I also have all of the Disney Store mugs made to commemorate each Disney movie; they stopped making them awhile back.
I forgot--David Doss prints as well!

I also collect Disney License Plates. We (Disney license plate collectors) make up only a tiny portion of Disney collectors, but we do have an amazing asset http://www.disneylicenseplates.com/index.html. Figment's Friend, if you are serious about collecting Disney license plates, you will want to look at this site and get on Steve's email list. He does an amazing job of keeping us up to date on the latest releases, and old plates that turn up.

I have a small collection of only about 100 of the close to 600 (or more) Disney plates, and am always looking for ones to add. My favorites are from Tokyo Disney Sea and pre-opening EPCOT plates.

I also never really thought I was "collecting" but I have about 25 Disney picture frames. Specifically ones from resorts we have stayed in and favorite rides.

Thank you for the link! I'm just about to check it out now. :thumbsup2 :cool1: I've actually had trouble finding more Disney license plates in the parks (which surprised me, I feel like a few years ago I saw a million of 'em! ::yes:: ) So thanks again for the link!

I love this thread! Everybody's got great collections and pics!

I collect Cinderella items - snow globes, dolls, figurines, toys... I actually had to box up some of the dolls and toys because the kids want to play with them and, I'm sorry, but those are MINE! I don't want them messing up my nice stuff - they have plenty of toys of their own! :rotfl:

Well, I started by collecting snowglobes--I have about 15. Then I went to Disney collectable plates--have about 10 or so. I also have the Disney villages. But, my two favorites that I continue are my Donald Duck collection and my Christmas ornaments. I now have a tree that is exclusively Disney, and I add several ornaments each time we go. This past Christmas one of my students made me a Donald Duck statue out of clay. (He needs to work for Disney when he grows up!! The statue could be sold in a shop!) Needless to say, it is my most prized collectable. Along with it, I have about 30 other Donald figurines and several stuffed Donalds.

This is a great thread. Makes me feel not alone. Anyway, we collect tons of Disney items and once we are done reorganizing the house I will have to take some pictures and post them. The collections we have:
WDCC Figurines - over 100, favorite is Malificent on the Castle top

Armani figurines - Jessica and Giselle, want the Sleeping Beauty one next.

Precious Moments - most of the ones that have been released.

Disney Ornaments - Have a 12 ft tree that is covered in ornaments, but we still have unopened Storybook ornaments that are not used. So we bought a second tree for this Christmas. Probably need a 3rd tree for all the other ornaments we have.

Disney videos - all Disney releases on DVD, all releases on VHS and most of the releases on Laserdisc.

Ellenshaw paintings - have 2, Pooh winter scene (where they are looking up at Owl's house) and Walt walking through the Castle at night (Disneyana convention piece and we have #1 of 150).

Disney Beanie Babies - This is the one that usually floors people who visit. We have over 3000 and most are lined up along the walls in our office. Ran out of wall space, so the others are in storage containers.

Disney movie posters - Lion King (signed by James Earl Jones), Beauty and the Beast (signed by Robbie Benson), Stich (signed by Chris Sanders and two other producers), Teacher's Pet (signed by whole cast except Nathan Lane), Brother Bear (signed by animators and producers), Finding Nemo (signed by producers), another Finding Nemo (supposedly signed by Albert Brooks and Ellen Degeneres but I can't be 100% positive), Beauty and the Beast Broadway Musical (signed by Kim Huber (original understudy of Belle) and another cast member) and a couple other posters that are not signed.

Then a bunch of miscellaneous items that are scattered throughout the house. When I get pictures I will post them.

Oh yes, totally forgot about DVD's! My dh would die..lol This is his thing. He has pretty much every single Disney dvd to ever come out..the treasures, boxed sets, older ones and then the newer versions that have come out, etc.. He is such a neat freak over that collections. Keeps them all in a dresser in the closet so no dust can get to them, etc.. It is crazy how perfect he keeps those movies..hehe

I have no idea how many we have as I have not gone in there and counted but it is quite a large collection. ;)

Now we are starting on Blu-Rays..have about 7 of them so far I think.:rotfl:

I have a collection of over 100 Disney (Mickey) watches. Some as inexpensive as $15 and a few over $300.
We also have cells painted by remaining artists at MGM, probably about 10-12 all with Fab-5 or Mickey.
Lot's of figurines, plates and Christmas ornaments, at least one for every year dated since 1971.
