What is your Disney Collection?

Each of my kids get a Disney artist sketch done by an artist with their favorite character at the time (seems to change every year). We have several different ones now. They also get a new pair of ears each visit that we put in shadow boxes in our Mickey bathroom.

I also get something from Peter Pan - my mom named me after Wendy.

This is a great thread. Makes me feel not alone. Anyway, we collect tons of Disney items and once we are done reorganizing the house I will have to take some pictures and post them. The collections we have:
WDCC Figurines - over 100, favorite is Malificent on the Castle top

Armani figurines - Jessica and Giselle, want the Sleeping Beauty one next.

Precious Moments - most of the ones that have been released.

Disney Ornaments - Have a 12 ft tree that is covered in ornaments, but we still have unopened Storybook ornaments that are not used. So we bought a second tree for this Christmas. Probably need a 3rd tree for all the other ornaments we have.

Disney videos - all Disney releases on DVD, all releases on VHS and most of the releases on Laserdisc.

Ellenshaw paintings - have 2, Pooh winter scene (where they are looking up at Owl's house) and Walt walking through the Castle at night (Disneyana convention piece and we have #1 of 150).

Disney Beanie Babies - This is the one that usually floors people who visit. We have over 3000 and most are lined up along the walls in our office. Ran out of wall space, so the others are in storage containers.

Disney movie posters - Lion King (signed by James Earl Jones), Beauty and the Beast (signed by Robbie Benson), Stich (signed by Chris Sanders and two other producers), Teacher's Pet (signed by whole cast except Nathan Lane), Brother Bear (signed by animators and producers), Finding Nemo (signed by producers), another Finding Nemo (supposedly signed by Albert Brooks and Ellen Degeneres but I can't be 100% positive), Beauty and the Beast Broadway Musical (signed by Kim Huber (original understudy of Belle) and another cast member) and a couple other posters that are not signed.

Then a bunch of miscellaneous items that are scattered throughout the house. When I get pictures I will post them.

I am a freak about collecting Disney toy figures the ones you get from happy meals and such. I also have a lot of pvc figures you get in sets.I care not if they are brand new or played with as long as I don't have them yet I take them. I have them all listed by movie or tv show they where in. From gummy bears to Lion king you name it I probably have a toy for it. I have some complete sets and some random figures I cannot put into sets as of yet. I have them in storage bins and boxes right now as I cannot find a shelf big enough to hold them all. My all time favorite find was Mrs jumbo from Disney's Dumbo. When I go to the parks and stay at Pop I like to display a small portion of my collection. This yr I will be pulling out the villians and putting them on the window for our Halloween display.

I collect the monorails and the accessories. So far I've managed to find

Spaceship earth
Tree of Life
Switchstation (TTC)
Contemporary
Orange Stinger
Golden Zephyr

Once I get GF and Poly, I think this expensive collection will be complete

We also collect the christmas ornaments from all the resorts we have stayed at. My fiance is also a pressed penny nut.

OK, I think I posted on here a while ago but here are a few pictures of things I collect:

PINS, of course! I usually put them on a lanyard or a ribbon but I'd like to get a shadowbox or something to display them in.

Pressed pennies...I have one full book and just got a second one.

I also have a couple of the Precious Moments figurines...here's my second one! So cute! I wish they weren't so expensive because I really like a lot of them.

I collect Snow White stuff I have about 150 Snow White items at the moment and I am always looking for more

DH and I both like the Jim Shore figures. DH likes the patriotic-themed figures (like Minnie as Betsy Ross) and I'm buying holiday figures (like my Halloween candy dish adorned with Huey, Dewey and Louie). Love the Donald Duck tangled in Christmas lights!

I have a snowglobe collection, 8 disney globes so far, and I also collect the disney storybook xmas ornaments.

I collect Magic Kingdom attraction posters. So far I have all of the ones that have been made available, most of them framed. They have been available in 2 sizes-full size like the ones you see hanging under the train station as you enter MK and a smaller, matted size. My downstairs is decorated as a MK room.

Oh, sweet!!! My dad has the Splash Mountain one. I love those posters!

Mine for now is my Disney movies, I have more of those then any kind of movie!!! I anticipate all of them when they come out and buy them almost immediatly. This may all change though when I go in August and I find something that I just have to have.
