What is the WORST snack or meal you've ever had at DL?

The WORST one I can think of was in DCA from the Lucky Fortune. Maybe I just got a bad one, but the Teriyaki Chicken bowl I got was like 99% rice. Most everything else at DL/DCA I've tried is at least okay if not pretty good, although I don't consider myself a huge foodie. The BEST one lately is the gray stuff (or now Summer Stuff). I don't eat that many sweets, but that is one that I make an exception for and indulge every visit.

Now if you want WORST EVER theme park food that one is easy. Hamburger at SeaWorld San Diego. You wouldn't think you could screw up a $20+ burger so badly, but that thing was absolutely inedible. The "meat" patty did not even look like something for human consumption. Took one small bite, spit that out, and threw the whole thing away and was put off food for days.

I don't recall what the dish was but worst meal for me was at Carthay Circle...it was so freakin spicy hot for no reason...and not favor spicy...just pure heat for a dish than made no sense...left unable to eat it.

I honestly can't think of anything I have had that was just horrible. I did get some pasta once from Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta that was aggressively okay. I didn't hate it, but I wished I had gotten something else.

Your post reminded me of my worst meal...the loco moco burrito at Tangaroa Terrace. The majority of the burrito was rice, and they didn't give you nearly enough salsa to compensate. It was lacking a lot of flavor and it was just kind of weird.

Hands down the worst food I was ever served was at Cafe Orleans a number of years ago. I don't remember what the meal was exactly but I can tell you that they first messed up an allergy request (an odd one, I am allergic to bell peppers!) and then the replacement meal they brought was so bad that I could not eat it. My meal was comped and to this day I have not been back.

Second place would have to be LLL about a year ago. Drinks there are great, food not so much.

I used to put Blue Bayou on this list but the last two meals there have actually been quite good.

Considering how much it cost me, Blue Bayou was terrible. Jambalaya was salty and the Mint Julip was sickeningly sweet. Never went back.

I had to really think about this one, because food at Disney tends to run from unremarkable but edible to quite tasty. But, I do remember back when Red Rose Tavern was still Village Haus, having at least two meals there that made me miserable. One was a burger, and one I think was like a small pizza that immediately made me queasy. (And I didn't have any known allergies/sensitives at that time.) IDK, the food was just always awful there IMO. It's still nothing spectacular at Red Rose Tavern, of what I've had there, but at least I don't want to barf when I eat there anymore.

Also they had an pork belly adobo thing during Festival of the Holidays last year that everyone raved about, but I must have gotten the dud because mine was truly ALL FAT. And I know pork belly is fatty, but this was just... sludge. The rice underneath was good though.

Worst meal overall was at Carthay Circle, but I've been there many times when it was really good. We just happened to have a reservation on a night when something was terribly wrong in the kitchen plus the AC wouldn't shut off. It was December and we were so freezing cold we covered ourselves in napkins, as did the other people next to us. It took about 45 minutes to get the glass of wine we ordered and another hour or so for our food, which was just terrible. Most of the options we tried to order were 'unavailable.' Our waitress was a champ and kept apologizing (it wasn't her fault so we didn't hold it against her) but the entire experience was just terrible and to compensate us, they gave us a very awful lava cake that had no lava. We should have left at the beginning but had no idea it would be so bad.

Worst meal when it should have been great was at Napa Rose, but it wasn't the food that was bad. We were seated fine and everything seemed good at first but we were ready to order and our server never came back. We flagged someone down and were assured the server would be there shortly. She came back long after we'd been ready to order but ok, things happen. However, the night wore on and we'd only gotten our salad. There was no sign of our server so again, we asked someone else if there was a problem. A different server finally showed up and he seemed put out to have to deal with our table of 2. We had ordered dessert but when we hadn't been checked on in ages, we decided to cut our losses and just get out of there. I've never received such rude treatment from staff at a fine dining restaurant. They actually came out and started cleaning around and under our table while we were sitting there waiting for our dessert after our server went AWOL. I wish I loved Napa Rose but I'd say my good experiences are about equal to the bad, and I've been there probably 8 times and have spent a lot on the meals. I liked it much better when you could sit in the back in what was then a kind of bar/lounge area and order drinks and small meals.

Some shrimp pasta at Trattoria in CA before COVID. Was our WOC dinner package and both of us were so sick, we couldn’t go to WOC. Never again will I eat seafood at a theme park.
Same with us! My dd vomited all over the white hotel room, we had to switch rooms. I was pretty sick too. We were the only ones to eat the shrimp there. We deliberately avoid that restaurant now and will forever!
