What is the WORST snack or meal you've ever had at DL?

got a real bad meal at the Lamplight Lounge a few years back. Also not crazy about Cathay Circle. For the good, we always split a chicken dinner at the Plaza and find it a good deal. Just got a wonderful Pizza at the Palm Bar a the new Disney Hotel Tower. We got a real good charcuterie board at the Heartsrone bar at the Grand California Hotel also good hamburger at Craftsman Grill big enough to split

I honestly can't stand the Mexican restaurant in Frontierland. I had so much hope for it before I tried it! I always think the chicken in the tostadas taste like they're powdered! Oh my. Not my favorite experience. Sorry if someone already mentioned it!

Me: same as others, Lucky Fortune chicken bowl. It was fatty chicken slathered in some horrendous sickening sweet sauce. Haven't gone back and that was in 2012.

Dh: Napa Rose pork chop. it was all fat. And the little part of meat on the chop was dry and mealy. We have given this restaurant 2 tries due to the rave reviews and I don't see us ever going back. Not worth the $$$$$.

Dd: Poke bowl at Trader Sam's. Not fresh, not even remotely fresh. Nothing else to say.

I sent back the Island Chopped Salad from Trader Sam's a few days ago. The menu says "Chopped Salad," but in reality it's two big rolled up pieces of romaine and the only thing that seemed to be chopped was some teeny (like 1/8" cubes) of ham. It also comes with teriyaki chicken on the side, which wasn't bad, but the whole thing was absolutely drenched in a very sweet dressing. I'm not a fan of their new menu. Used to love the flatbreads here but they're gone.

I'm so sad to hear this. I loved their salads and flatbreads! Also, the panko green beans, which I understand they changed as well. I don't mind updating menus, but I hate downgrading them!

The green beans were still pretty good, although they were just regular green beans rather than the Chinese long beans they used to have. The old ones were better, but the new ones were ok.

Napa Rose always seems to disappoint, just think they could be better for what they charge

Wow, I'm surprised (and disappointed) to hear the bad reviews on Napa Rose. We didn't go this time, but when we went in 2021 and 2018 it was really good. Did the Chef's Table a couple times and the regular restaurant once. Has something changed to cause the drop in quality?

No, I don't think so, because I know many who love it. Most of the time it's not the food, though that has been inconsistent for me post-covid. My main beef has been with the service, which for some reason is almost always bad when I go with my sister. It's like we're invisible! I NEVER feel welcome there, which I don't understand. We dress well, are polite, aren't demanding, but we get ignored almost every time (that would be about 5-6 tries). The last one was a deal-breaker as they (our servers) were so rude to us it was startling. I am still completely baffled by it.

We had previously done the Chef's Table and another time a wonderful Wine Pairing. We loved getting a Scharffenberger (?) hot chocolate/dessert in the evening next to the fire, pre-Covid. We had wonderful times there but after the Covid reopening, it was never the same and I don't understand why we have consistently gotten poor service and sometimes missing or lackluster portions.
