The one that they spam all over the internet?

I have heard it is just brushing your teeth with a mix of baking soda and peroxide.

Hmmm, not sure what you are asking. I will mouth wash with peroxide and find that helpful.

The tooth whiteners they sell at the store all contain peroxide (the ones I checked anyway). Peroxide has directions on the bottle on how to make a rinse, but I take it straight. No idea if that is bad or not.

Baking soda can help too. Before A&H made their own toothpaste, my dad brushed with straight baking soda when he quit smoking a couple decades ago to try and mitigate the discoloration the smoking had caused. No idea how well it worked as I didn't really study his teeth too much.

That's what I think it is. I never followed the link or searched the internet for the answer.

Those ads are everywhere and annoying as can be.

There are ads like this: "Stay at home mom finds the trick to incredibly white teeth! Never pay a dentist again! Find out the secret for just $5!"

this stay at home mom uses photoshop for white teeth, and thinner arms, too!

I have heard it is rubbing a banana peel on your teeth. A lady I work with swears by it.

A flight attendant on one of my flights had incredibly white teeth. The couple behind me complimented him on it and asked if he had them whitened. He said that all he does is rinse his mouth with peroxide. Maybe that is the secret.

I checked it out...you use 2 Whitening Products...one for 2 weeks and another brand for another 2 weeks, and VIOLA! You have whiter teeth.;) A little expensive if you ask me...:confused3

Okay I heard it was strawberries rubbed with a tooth bush like toothpaste:confused3
I am thinking of trying the crest white strips.:)

Ding Ding Ding....you got it right! Don't do it. I thought I would try the free sample for .99 shipping and it was such a scam. After your free trial expires in 14 days they charge you $79.95 for the tube if you don't return it. Luckily when it arrived I called and cancelled and they sent a shipping label for it to go back but that cost me $6.99!

I need to do something about the whiteness (or lack of) of my teeth, due to my coffee/tea addiction. Can anyone tell me what peroxide tastes like, just so I'm prepared?

Well dang. That awful ad has made it onto here via google ads now.

I guess the one rule to obey is to send a lot of money and quick!

My friend who is a dental hygenist and works in a practice where they do whitening in the office has told me that Crest Advanced white strips work just as well as in in office whitening.

Doesn't taste like anything:thumbsup2 It does bubble a little, and you may get a tingly feeling :woohoo:

For some reason I think I have it in my head that you aren't supposed to swallow it, but I may just be making that up :rolleyes1

Well, it isn't great.... :rotfl: But then again, neither is baking soda... which can get mixed with peroxide to make a paste to brush your teeth.

And, from what I read, using peroxide "can" have side effects if yoou use it too often.

To the poster above me.... I wouldn't say it tastes like "nothing".... but I guess YMMV.
