What is the time zone for Castaway Cay?

Is it the same as Orlando? I'm asking because I need to check-in for Southwest online 24 hours before my flight home, which will be on Castaway Cay day. DH or I are going to run back to the ship to check-in and then rejoin the family at the beach...but I don't want to waste time running back at the wrong time! Our flight out will be 2:35 on Saturday, so we need to check-in at 2:35 Orlando time on Friday. Is 2:35 Orlando time the same as 2:35 Castaway Cay time or is there a difference?

Also...if anyone has flown SW and done this before on CC day, I would appreciate any tips. We are not going to purchase an internet package...we just want to pay by the minute for the few minutes we need to check in (and print boarding passes if possible.) TIA!

It's Island Magic time....drink the Bahama Mama and don't worry about the time. Kidding......It will be in your Navigator the night before. I believe it is Eastern Standard time, same as Orlando.

Trying to remember, but I believe that they are 1 hour ahead of florida.

same time as orlando EST....

Is there someone you trust back home to check you in....I would hate to waste my beach time trekking back to the ship....

If someone back home checks you in, you simply just reprint your boarding passes at one of the kiosks at MCO before you board.

We did this last month. Time is identical to Orlando.

We had a overcast cool day at CC and headed back to the Magic "early." Hint: Go to the Cove Cafe and use those internet stations. We were about five minutes early so ordered a couple of coffees and waited until it was time. Logged in and paid by the minute (took a total of 2 minutes to hit the SW site and check-in and log back out). Total of $1.50. Also printed the Boarding Passes right there (and weren't charged). VERY easy and convenient to do and got our "A" passes.

Do I need to sign up for internet access by the minute prior to going to the Cove Cafe, or can I just walk up and use it when we need to check in for our flight?

Just walk up. There are very clear instructions there as to how to log in using a combination of your name and your cabin number. The "clock" doesn't start until after you do all the log in things. Make sure you have the SW URL and your flight confirmation code handy to speed things up. First time we did this and it was a breeze!

OK, I'm not very computer savvy...what EXACTLY is the SW URL that I need to have? I have my flight confirmation code. Thanks for your help...this will really help put my mind at ease!
