What is the story on...

We met them one Christmas ago, I didn't realize her name, but she always is friendly when we loop around, I am going to make a plan to visit her when we are there in June for our week of camping. So sorry to hear about her husband. I would love to have this opportunity, glad she is getting to live her dream there!

Is this the castle you are speaking of? I was there last week and got this. They are living it up as far as I can tell.

Richard

Yep :)

IIRC the lady's name is Hilda or Helga (something like that).

SinceDay1 is correct - they have literally been there for years and I believe they have to play the rate/reservation game just like we all do.

I like the license plate - I can not believe that Disney would not claim it long before them. Or is it fake?

Those are official Florida plate WDW gets so many plates, they don't do personalized plates. Very cool set up.

It is an official tag, what I think Richard meant was that since Disney has to purchase so many tags for their vehicles that they don't bother trying to get personalized ones.

Stand corrected!

You will see some personalized tags.

Especially at Hilton Head in South Carolina - Shadow 1, for example is/was a Disney plate on a Disney vehicle at the DVC resort there. Shadow is the name of the resorts Golden Retriever and is part of many of the activities. The kids love Shadow! (And me also!) He has his own little dog house at the entry door to the office area.
