What is the Planet Hollywood meal voucher with free dining?

Does anyone know what the free meal voucher is for that is included in the free dining plan? Our confirmation just states that this is included in the voucher along with a merchandise voucher. What's that for? Is this restaurant any good? Since it is located in Pleasure Island, do I use up one of my tickets that includes water parks and more? Can my child go into Pleasure Island at dinner? Lots of questions, here. Thanks.

It's a voucher for a free meal with the purchase of a meal at Planet Hollywood. Planet Hollywood is located at the West Side so you don't have to worry about any ticket options for going there.

Children can go to Planet Hollywood, it's similar to a Rainforest Cafe and such.

The free meal voucher is limited to certain items only. 1 select entree and 1 non-alchoholic beverage. Choice of 1 of the following:
Any Burger Platter
Ceasar Salad or Pasta Pomodoro.

It is a free meal voucher and does not require the purchase of another meal.

The merchandise gift is a free key chain and 10 to 15 % discount on purchases. I cannot remember which it was. We got the key chain, but you have to arrive prior to 5:00 to claim it at the gift shop.

I ordered my disney vacation thru expedia with free dining plan.. do i get the voucher as well?

If you package will come from Walt Disney Travel Company you will get the voucher otherwise no. By the way it is not buy one get one free, it is a free meal voucher.

We got the voucher too, but we won't be using it. The one and only time we ate at Planet Hollywood, the food was bad (and cold), the server was rude, and it took over 45 minutes just for her to take our order.

Hmmmmmmm. I think I will pass on this one. There are a lot better places I can go!

We're not using ours either. Everyone gets one that books a package through WDTC, not just during free dining, it's part of the "new package inclusions" for 2006.

But I've read it can't be included with any other offer, so you may not be able to use it in conjunction with the dining plan. Anyone know for sure?

I would like to know as well...the only way I would even try PH is if the food was free! Also, if anyone is going soon and doesn't want their voucher I would love to have it.

I think the voucher is pretty much useless. It's just a way to get you into the restaurant. It's only good for one meal, so the rest of your party still would have to pay for dinner. Why pay for dinner when you are getting free dining?

Also the vocher is non-transferable - so unused vouchers can not be given away.

Thanks Jennifer...I didn't know this. :)

I guess we'll only go there if we can't get ADR's anywhere else!
