What is the ONE thing you would change about DVC, DVC rules?

I guess it’s good that it leaves the HA rooms available for those who need them, unless someone who doesn’t need one books it intentionally because all the others are gone.
100% this room would be booked by the first person who saw it as the only option. Maybe some people would leave it open, but no way it stays open for long if it's the last studio standing.

Yes, that’s a good way to explain it. Normally we called at 11 months from checkout, but when we needed both a 2BR and a studio for a trip with my parents, we called day by day starting 11 months from checkin. So we weren’t walking, we were booking one day at a time for dates we actually wanted.
Yup Not walking, just extending the reservation. It was much better than walking a reservation. But maybe I'm just nostalgic.

1. Eliminate forced room checks for owners with a positive stay history

2. Priority dining reservations at our home resort when we are booked in our name ( 75 days out )

3. Guaranteed room availability at 3pm for rooms booked at least 7 months out ( they know we are arriving )

4. Shopping items sent back to hotel from the parks like they used to do.

None of these would cost a significant amount.

You had to book your reservation day by day and you could fail to extend your reservation each time. Much worse than what we currently have in my opinion.
