7 pounds in 7 days! I don't know how much of it stuck, though. Some may have been just extra fluids from traveling, eating more salty food, or whatever. I do know that it scared me into getting very serious with my gym workouts for several months before I went on a 15-night cruise! I was pretty highly motivated by the fear that I might follow my trend and gain 15 pounds! That year I lost several pounds before the trip, worked out several times on the cruise, and gained only a few pounds back. I use the stairs a lot at home, but I also did things like make myself run up from Deck 2 to Deck 9 or carry my 3YO up the stairs. I think that definitely helped, lol. I didn't really limit what I ate at dinner and ate plenty of desserts and bread and butter, but I did restrain myself to a very small breakfast like a small bowl of cereal or some yogurt and fruit. It's easier for me to do that than to forgo any of the dinner courses!
