I know it's totally a matter of opinion but it would be helpful to know what frequent Disney-goers think??

I know many will disagree but Le Cellier IMHO is the most over rated restaurant. It's impossible to get ADRs for a lot of the time and it requires 2ddp credits for dinner and next year will be 2 for lunch also. I like steak as much as the next guy but it's just not worth it to me.

Cape May Cafe for me!

Prepare for a lot of responses that say either 'Ohana or LeCellier.

While Le Cellier will have many defenders, it will probably also have the highest number of people (myself included) calling it over-rated.

While some people rave about it, many others believe it offers nothing more than mediocre steaks.

Second to Le Cellier, I'd say Yak & Yeti. Though some of their food is good, much of it is no better than fast food Chinese.

I agree - Le Cellier. I really only like the soup there. The rest is just okay to almsot bad. The quality of the steaks aren't good. Now that it is 2 credits (not that it matters to me since we don't use the dining plan; but the price did go up) I'm skeptical that they improved it by a lot, which is what they would have needed to do to be on par with other signatures.

Teppan Edo, too expensive for the few choices they offer and too boot they don't even accept the TIW card! I pass!

Yak & Yucky, I see the pictures, they lulled me back in. Once, shrimp so overcooked it was ridiculous and the second time I agree w/ previous poster, it's nothing special!

I say it's Chef Mickey's. Also since I don't do Asian Cuisine I can't relate to those who rave about Teppan Edo or Yak & Yeti.

My vote goes to Hollywood and Vine. Food was ok, but seemed like a lot of stuff was under cooked to us.

Chef Mickey's is horrendous. But I can't say it's overrated, because I don't see many people actually rating the food well. You go solely for the character.

I definitely wouldn't say Hollywood and Vine or Chef Mickey's are OVERrated...in fact, if someone ever posted a positive review of the food at H&V, I'd die of shock! :lmao:

Based on our more recent dining experiences, my vote goes to Jiko. I was expecting something more than avg., but that was what we received. We definitely didn't find it exotic.

LeCellier. Don't get me wrong, I like their food, but IMHO, the atmosphere sucks. The tables are all crammed together, and if you get a table for two, you're lucky if your entrees and appitizers and drinks fit on it.

That being said, we are going to try it again this next trip to see if they have changed things (like made more space) since they made it a two-credit dinner.

Another vote for LeCellier
It was good years ago IMO I think the soup got too salty and the Steak was not that good might as well visit a local Ruth Chris

"Overrated" can mean lots of things to different people. Some will list perennial poor performers (H&V perhaps) as overrated, although I don't know how something with such poor scores can be overrated. I'd take a shot at restaurants that are rated highly, but don't deliver - like leCellier.

From a food standpoint, my vote goes to California Grill - hopefully the refurbishment will change that.

Via Napoli-
We went to Italy earlier in the year and my son LOVES pizza, so we really thought after all the reviews that the pizza was going to be outstanding and closer to the traditional pie that is served in Rome.

Nope- underdone. DH even was a little disappointed and he never complains about food.

I going to get it for saying this one because it is a favorite of many.
The Biergarten I think is overrated although I will stand outside and have a few beers, it's a nicer beergarden outside.
