What is the likelyhood of availability

I wanted to upgrade our studio reservation for Jan. 21 - 25 to a 1 br. I found several people willing to transfer the 20 points needed, but there are no 1 br's available. Would they ever release the CRO inventory? What about the date of check in? If I rent the 20 points and there are no 1 br's, they will go to waste because we obviously are in borrow mode and need to build up points, so we decided not to vacation in Disney next year.

At this late date, I would think your chances are slim to none of getting anything now.
