I am wondering (no pun intended) what the largest party for a table in the dining room is? We requested to be linked with two other families and so there would be 11 total. They told me the biggest table is for 8. I could swear I saw larger tables on past cruises.

Thanks!

We were a party of 12 in April, they just moved an 8 top next to a 4 top, we were all good.

When we were on the Wonder in 2003, we had 15 at one table. This year we were 18, again on the Wonder, and they had us split at 3 tables, grouped together with the same servers.

2 times we were at tables of more than 12 FIrst time there was no problem....second time i felt like they were a little put out by having to put tables together for us.......... BUT W>E:confused3

Did you guys move your tables together, or just left them apart? I am traveling with a group of 18 in Feb. I was thinking of requesting to sit with some of my party and the requesting same servers but different tables for the rest.

Each serving team serves an 8-top, 6-top, and 4-top table. When possible, they will put tables together so that larger groups can be seated together.

On our last cruise our servers had our table (8 people) and one other table (11 people). The servers next to us had 2 tables, also - a 4 person and a 12 person table.

The above is correct. There is one large table in each dining room that seats maybe 16...but this is only one.

The largest we've been at was 18, but as above, that was placing smaller tables together. SO, when they say 8, they mean without placing tables together.

I know there is at least a table of 16. Our servers had this table along with ours which was a table 4. Most nights the extended family that was at the 16 person table were always at least an hour late. We generally had great service until they arrived. :-(

We've had a table for 16 and a table for 15. They just put two tables together. Both times we had excellent service with our crew but we're very outgoing and like to talk with our servers.

On our WBTA we had a table of four but our servers also had a table of 10 and a table of 12 (all DISer's).

And the post is correct that MOST of the time a server will have a 4,6, and 8 top table at each dining time. However, on our cruise last week our server pointed out that she had 20 guests and the 3 nearest serving stations had either 19 or 20 at late seating. So the number and arrangement for each server is somewhat flexible.

We were on the Wonder in September 2010 for my son's wedding. There were 14 in our party and they had no trouble seating us all at one table. It was great and the servers were awesome. They will tell you it can't be done right up until you get on board. Then the restaurants will make it happen. Have fun and don't worry about being together.
