I'm working on plans now for my scraproom.

what is the ideal depth for a work surface? the table I have been using is 30" deep (from me to the wall) and that's too deep for me.

Any suggestions?

TIA!:thumbsup2

24 inches is perfect for me - there's room for my tools and table top trash container along the far edge, but still room for 12x12 pages in front of me.

I'll try to remember to tidy up and take a photo tomorrow. We're renovating the kitchen where my space normally is, so it's in temporary quarters in the Living room.

I believe mine is 30" which is good for me. I have room for my cutting mat and shelving for 12 x 12 paper in front of me.

Can't wait to see pictures of your room. :)

I use a card table. Not sure what the dimensions are, but it leaves me enough room for some tool storage and a large enough work space.

Boy, do I envy those of you with your own rooms!! My next house will have one!!!!

The table I work on is 24 inches deep. It works perfectly if I keep it uncluttered. But it never does stay that way, so even with stuff all around the perimeter, it still works.
